That is beautiful! And MAN, I had NO idea I have been slumming it with my notchless soup bowls all these years!!

I just found this little beauty recently and HAD to have it... the beauty of the whole situation? Clearance! $2.99 :D

Oh god I love that stuff.
Not made it in ages. Do you use condensed milk?
I do use sweetened condensed milk for the caramel later. Was thinking of adding vanilla or something to it next time, though... any suggestions?

The only changes I ever made was to use white chocolate on top rather than plain or milk.
My other tweaks were in the biscuit base. I use a handful of ginger nuts to give it a bit of bite and brown sugar rather than white (you may need to use a little less though.)

Muschles

The most sexy dish we eat with friends is muschles, cooked belgian way in beer and vegetables.
Light food, all spreading cunts on your plate and a wonderful pussy smell.
Eat with your fingers makes it even more intense.
With bubblies a wonderful start of an orgy.

Mine feels almost puritan compared to ^^THAT!^^ :D

Going to make Leek, corn and sweet potato soup with fresh, homemade herby bread rolls on the side.

So very simple yet so very nice.

Pineapple ginger chicken. I juiced some fresh pineapple and fresh ginger for the marinade (also includes honey). Will make up some basmati rice, a simple green vegetable, and a green salad.

Mmmmmm. Can I steal a bite?

My kitchen will soon smell like classic chicken korma, roasted garlic broccoli, and white rice.

It will have to come from my plate (not a problem, of course), as the two hungry young men who inhabit the basement will be snarfing everything within reach, as usual.

Chicken Korma? Is that chicken with a misspelled destiny?

OMG... Freshly juiced pineapple is amazing. And I love ginger! This sounds awesome, but any pineapple juiced in my house gets drunk within minutes... I would have to buy about 4 pineapples and no rum in order to have any left for marinade :p

Deal. I'll be certain to mind my pineapple manners, of course. :D

You have hungry men in your basement? Oh my.

Chicken Korma is a creamy Indian nom. Chicken karma is better explored on the crossroads. ;)

Not a problem here. I stopped drinking rum as a freshman in college. Fresh pineapple in solid form, though, gets snarfed up in no time here.

Well, I may never learn the rum lesson. Especially while Sailor Jerry still graces liquor store shelves...

Seriously sharp cheddar, chevre, apples and Italian bread for starters. Lightly herbed and breaded chicken, pan roasted heirloom carrots and beets, and a mushroom bacon rice pilaf for mains. Millionaire's Shortbread for dessert. Yeah, it's going to take me a while to finish off the sweet stuff.

And earlier in the day, Halloween goodies!! :)

I'm doing my personal favourite tonight.... Seared chicken in tomato. Yum! :D

Sounds simple and delicious, yep! :)

Yup... Slice some chicken into strips... Roll in four and any seasoning you want (I like fajitas) then place in a VERY hot skillet with some oil in it (Just below the smoking point) and sizzle.
Turn it over a couple of times (You may need to add in more oil) then add some onions on top and when they soften (About 5 mins) then pour in the passata and coat your chicken. Allow the sauce to thicken and serve with steamed veggies and couscous.

My fave meal. Dead easy and hardly any washing up to do!

A lot of people are afraid of quick cooked chicken, but I find it tender and delicious... I will give it a try, and thanks! :)

Thats why you cut it into strips... It won't take long to cook it so its safe.

And you are very welcome!.

Presently baking some deep chocolate brownies. Includes 2 sticks of butter, a half pound of 86% cacao chocolate, and a fistful of cocoa, sugar and stuff. (No, not THAT stuff! This isn't Colorado, dammit.)

Don't forget the condensed milk to keep the inside gooy....

What are you using as a binding agent?
Eggs?
