I don't really have anything to say, but I wanted to start a thread.

Hey... I slept in until 9:30 this morning. The cat was pawing at my face to go out though.

Today is grocery day. The only thing in my fridge is a gallon jar of hot peppers and a squeeze bottle of catsup. There's nothing in the freezer. Literally, there's nothing in there.

Otherwise it's a beautiful morning and supposed to be a fantastic weekend.

Just checked my MegaMillions ticket... didn't get a single number. I always play the MegaMillions and the PowerBall. Sure, it's a tax on the stupid, but its a tax I can pay or not if I want to.


Maybe I'll go over to the airport today and see what's going on. I'm very close (after 30 years) to getting my private pilot license.

Here's all I got: I didn't sleep til gone 3 am this morning. I've been reading Incubus by Ray Russell for a couple of hours, had an argument with the postman, looked at pictures of Eva Green online and now I'm going to make some pasta. Then I'm taking my book and whiskey into the bath for a while.

I think I'll watch Cold Mountain tonight.

1. I watched the TV until about 1 am, then read for another hour before bed.
2. I'm on the second of three books in the Silo series. Excellent, excellent, excellent story.
3. My postman hasn't gotten here yet. Usually about 11 he makes it round the Savage Mailbox.
4. I don't know Eva Green, but I'm certain she's a lovely person.
5. I make pasta every weekend and vacuum seal it if I'm not to eat it right away.
6. I don't drink that brown liquor.
7. I haven't been in a bath tub in 40 years, even though I have a few of them.

8. I think I saw that movie... has a willowy woman in it. I think.
