I'm going to say I really hate having my past service used by others to justify why we shouldn't pay people a living wage. I did not sign up to defend anyone's right to shit on the working class.

L'amour est difficile. Je ne comprends pas les hommes.. Mais mon couer veut l'impossiblé.

Sometimes I like to vent in french.

Also, fuck YES!!!

Armored tanks are difficult to overcome. I never compensate those homos. Putting mace in the cover vents is impossible.

DC, generally speaking, has no dining culture. Politicians and those that feed them keep a few places in business. But:

D.C.’s Old Ebbitt Grill ranks No. 3 on a list of top-grossing restaurants.

Restaurant Business Magazine’s annual list says Old Ebbitt had $26.7 million in sales in 2013. The 500-seat restaurant sold 600,000 meals last year, Restaurant Business estimates.

While Old Ebbitt is among D.C.’s oldest restaurants, circa 1856, one of the District’s newest restaurants also ranks high nationally. The Hamilton, at $17.9 million, comes in at No. 15 for annual sales.

Other Washington restaurants on the list of top independents for sales are Sequoia, at No. 34 with $15 million in annual sales; Tower Oaks Lodge in Rockville, at No. 71 with $11.8 million in annual sales; Jackson’s Mighty Fine Food & Lucky Lounge in Reston, at No. 82 with $11.2 million in sales; Costal Flats in Fairfax, at No. 94 with $10.6 million in sales; Willow Creek Farm in Broadlands, at No. 98 with $10.2 million; and Sweetwater Tavern in Falls Church, at No. 100 with $9.9 million.

Mary Lambert singing Jessie's Girl is gut-wrenching.

I found my new karaoke song.

I've waited for a table for over an hour at Ebbitts before the family revolted and we ate elsewhere.

Mais les hommes, nous ne sommes pas aussi difficiles. L'amour d'une bonne femme, c'est un début.

I've had lunch there a few times. It's more of a place to be seen than it is a place to eat.

Tower Oaks is fantastic and I eat there a few times a month.
