What is with the surveys?

Just today 3 different surveys called the house.They want to speak to the youngest female or male, the oldest female or male. One doesn't bother to ask for any demographic at all but went straight into the questions. We get them every day and usually i don't answer, but when i do now, it's just to tell them to take the number off the call list. We have never been so inundated with such calls before, and I do mean inundated; half a dozen calls a day, for the last 4 weeks. Much as the politicos here on the GB, they don't listen unless you answer the way they want you to answer, so why fucking bother. I just told the local congressman's rep the only time they drag his dead ass out of DC is the 3 months prior a general election where his name is on the ballot, and it seems to me if he would spend more time with his constituency, he would damn well KNOW what we thought the issues were.
