I looked at the criteria for a diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and its the same as alcoholism.

All of the PTSD victims I ever met were alcoholics.

I have PTSD quite severely, but I don't even drink at all. Even when I drank a little in years past I limited myself to one drink. I grew up around alcoholics and wanted nothing nothing to do with it. I'm a 25 year old female and I was diagnosed as a child, so I might be an odd-ball in the equation, but I definitely don't fit that bill.

Skin and eyes that appear yellowish (jaundice)
Abdominal pain and swelling.
Swelling in the legs and ankles.
Itchy skin.
Dark urine color.
Pale stool color, or bloody or tar-colored stool.
Chronic fatigue.
Nausea or vomiting.

have your liver checked.

I was diagnosed at 12, but the trauma had been long over then. Trauma happens to children all the time. For me it was severe and repeated. It can mess a person up. I have nigtmares about it, the kind where you wake up screaming, full on hallucinations during the day sometimes, I can have periods of dissociation that last for days. I was actually a selective mute from age 4 to about 8.

Not really out of body, but like sometimes I end up somewhere and I don't know how I got there. Sometimes I don't remember entire days, or several days at a time. People can tell me I did this or that or we went here, but I don't remember it at all.
