You were not "demoted". Lit Moderators are not "superior" to normal users - they are people who are (very nicely) volunteering to help move spam off the board. As you may have noticed, Mods have no special powers, no extra features, no private lounge, no fruit baskets, no pedicures. Not even a t-shirt. :rose:

Just putting this detailed and insightful (if alarming) study of the forums here, in case it was overlooked. (from the last pool of links Mags posted)

Literotica - Lit Erotica encorages pedaphilia, beastailty, increst and scams
I love to read and write poetry. In 2005 I joined a site called Lit Erotica. On this site I could remain anonymous and exchange fodder for stories and poetry.

This site is actually only made up of about 10 posters with thousands of fake ID's and profiles. These men are between the ages of 40-65. They are of Jewish decent and or married to Jewish women. These men refer to themselves as the "Klan."

Who are these men? A medical Dr. from Washington D.C., a writer/editor from NY, a software engineer from MA, a psychological researcher from Maryland/Nova Scotia, a deli owner from Florida, a former police detective and now private investigator from MI, an architect from VA, a magician/writer from N.J., and a man from Texas. Some of these men also have a military background.

These men are Bernie Madoff's of the internet who prey on people sexually, monetarily and any way needed to accomplish in their words "GREED" and that they have sold their souls to "Lucifer".

These men are gifted writers who have mastered the ability to speak not only in their own voices but voices of teenagers and even voices from the ghetto. They have hacked into my daughter's face book account pretending to be her, sent me Key logging Trojans and written sexual stories about my minor children.

How do they do it? This varies from site to site. On Lit Erotica, they have set up a false lag in their chat room. They encourage their fellow chatters to go to MSN/Yahoo and send Trojans with their e-mails where they then cyber stalk. They also stalk by using your e-mail address and passwords you provide when you join their sites.

Most people use the same passwords and e-mails for various accounts. An example, you join their site with the same e-mail and password as face book. Within a short time, these men know everything about you including information about your children, where you work, your mobile phone number, and your address.

Once these men have access to this information they share it among themselves.They then use the former police officer/private investigator prey upon you and your family.

These men are vindictive and revengeful. If you have befriended one of these men and *** them off God help you because they will photo shop your photos with *** pictures and place them on the internet. These men are big fans of 4Chan and lots of their "work" gets posted there or is used in other ways on the internet as Avitars or for picture swapping and sharing. Imagine, them key logging your computer and obtaining pictures of your children and then posting them across the net.

If you are interested in the writing section and contests do not bother few people win and if they do they encourage them to talk wonderful about their site. There has also been incidents of people telling me their work has been stolen as well.

Expect a lot of retaliation from this post. There will be comments about how wonderful the site is and the people involved. Do not believe it. These are the same people that rate their own stories and poems to make them look like people like them.

For five years I remained friends with a couple of these men. I was NEVER intimate with them despite being asked. Last year I received a new computer, got a face book account and bingo I get a call. I befriended the dr. again which was a major mistake. I trusted him...why? I talked to him at the hospital he worked at and verified his name on WebMD.

One day when I looked at his profile I saw a lot of woman's names. When I questioned him know what he said to me? "Baby, I am a sexual predator and you are my prey." This doctor went on to talk about my daughter and ask where she was going to college. Nice huh? He is a professor at a major university. I am presently being stalked physically and I have been cyber stalked for months. I have no evidence though. All the threats were in the form of stories and poems. Again....stay away from this site. Look for my posts..I have more sites to discuss that they are involved in. Poetry, psychological forms, chat sites, spiritual sites, addiction sites, interpersonal sites...

Why am I doing this? TO heal, to in some small way help others.

At the bottom of this screed, the website adds a helpful button for users to click on containing the text "I had the same issue". What tickles me is that there's a "1" in the indicator beside the box.

How bout a non-functional mod?

Whatever choice of words you prefer, you and everyone are now aware that I have declined your invitation to in the future be re-activated into a fully functional volunteer spam mover again when all this "nonsense has blown over".

I thought it necessary to publicize this so that the people who turned to you in panic at the prospect that I had special mod powers to expose their alts could be put at ease.

They now have the peace of mind you originally intended to bestow upon them with the gesture of ...... ummm ...... of ..... whatever you told them in private, which I'm assuming was that you rendered me 100% incapable of using those special mods powers I never had in the first place forever or doing anything remotely mod-like?

Everything is out in the open now. Those worriers should be satisfied and happy now, which in turn should make you satisfied and happy now, which in turn should make everyone in the GeeBee satisfied and happy now.

I honestly think all the bases have been covered now.

I have read some of your words here and think you put a lot of deep thought and meaning into your poetry. I can appreciate that.

But in this thread I think for the most part you are coming across as being condescending - unintentionally? Only you know that. All I have is what you are writing here.



I personally think divulging what someone has PRIVATE messaged you is
not ok at all. Ever. You could have messaged Laurel back and no one would have been any the wiser.

Laurel is very tolerant of many people who try and poo in our sandpit. She discreetly deals with wankers, assholes and trolls with patience and grace.



I have no idea how she does it and I applaud her for it.

Am I scalding you or taking you to task? No. I am being direct and forthright.

How any of us react on this board is of our own doing and freewill.

And time and time again someone here will call us on our bullshit or if they think we are being dickheads. That is part of the marred beauty of the gb. :)
