I voted each and every time on how much impact someone had on the board, according to me. Except for my one shallow vote of xyz+mc=squared, based purely on the pictures he posts of himself, because I don't know him from Joe Blow.

That works for you, and it's what I tried to do with my nominations, but there's no way to make people vote that way.

And really, it needs to be remembered that, in any context, "Hall of Fame" is not synonymous with "Hall of Best". Fame is, essentially, a form of popularity.
