I started watching this movie today at the gym while doing cardio, got about half way through it...

I have to say at this point I am...disturbingly...impressed.

Would love to hear what others think....WITHOUT SPOILERS!!!!

I enjoyed it, but it hasn't stuck with me like I expected. I do want to see American Hustle eventually too.

I watched Silver Linings online just because I wanted to see Jennifer Lawrence's performance. I was surprised that the movie itself was better than I thought it was going to be. Good story and good performances all around.

The acting was good, but I was getting bored near the end and fast forwarded through the football game til they danced.

It's a good movie about neurotic people, that benefits greatly from not being made by Woody Allen.

I didn't see it for the longest time, because it's posters and even some trailers made it look like a run of the mill rom com.

I Loved this movie! I thought both JLaw & BCoop did phenomenal acting jobs.
De Niro was good, too. Loved the plot. Loved the acting.

it was good, but would've been a lot better if julia stiles and jennifer lawrence had engaged in some make believe lesbian incest because, you know, i'm a fucking perv like that. also, i really like julia stiles for reasons that even i do not fully understand.

She's charming, seems smart, low key with pretty eyes, what's not to like?

I have no intention of seeing this movie.

true, but i still feel guilty. i can't help it.

and you really don't need to. it's good like american beauty was good. basically, i really don't think it'll end up as a classic, but it's still a perfectly fine movie.

but no fucking flying rubbish, so that's good.

This is weird, but that flying plastic bag is stuck in my head like the theme from MASH. But for the life of me I could never remember what movie it was from. Now I am whole; thank you.

yes, but whenever ron says it it makes me want to punch him in the stomach.

I watched the movie when I was desperate for a movie. It was there in an instant video stream, and I was there with time to float down the river in a TV tube.

I don't remember the beginning, the middle or the end. I know I did cry but I don't remember exactly why.
