I keeellll you!

cool, i bet it was a fun show. :)

Third time I've seen him and nearly the entire show is new.

I love how he reacts as if he has no idea what the puppets will say. He is THE best at his craft. Plus I won money at the casino. A perfect night!

"I keel you till you are DEAD!"

I love him. Next to Ron White and Danny Bhoy, he's a favorite.

I have all his DVDs (I think) outside of "Minding The Monsters". (Saw no point in costuming ventriloquist dummies.)

Think I'm split about 50-50; LOVE Walter, Jose, & Peanut (who did, like, 10 minutes on a relative first time I talked them into seeing him), but see no point in "Sweet Daddy" or Bubba J, & think Achmed is becoming outdated.

You'll be happy to hear a new world tour DVD is being released in November.

I agree with your plus and minus on the puppets. Peanut rocks!

Actually, while I'm split on some of his puppets, some of them (including Walter & Peanut... Accidentally typed "Walnut" first) aren't as funny anymore, as their lines & just responses to certain types of questions have become predictable.

Also, I wonder what tour the DVD will be from; I read recently he was doing a residence in Vegas at Terry Fator's place (though I also saw Fator on TV recently, & the show's host announced he was still there!) Hope it's not stuff we've heard a million times told to audiences in other countries b/c it's new to them!!

He is very funny...

He's fucking hilarious. His routines routinely have me laughing until I cry.

Ventriloquists have a unique advantage in their comedy performances in that their dummies (alter egos) can say things that would have the audience booing any other performer off-stage. The ultimate non-PC platform to launch an act from.

I don't know of him, but yeah, she's funny enough. It's her laugh that I remember. Sounds like a 65yr old chain smoking truck stop waitress.

....Or what the movies tell me a 65yr old chain smoking truck stop waitress should sound like.

she's got a bunch of clips on youtube :) unfortunately it looks like she doesn't tour much at all, so not much chance of seeing her live.

hey don't knock 65 yr old chain smoking truck stop waitresses, they got skillz ;)

No doubt. The mere thought of one kneeling at your feet, expertly making quick work of the fastenings on your pants, her heavy lidded look only enhanced by the blue eyeshadow that's caked into the "laugh lines" makes one a little light headed....woozy even. Second only to the moment she pops the seal on her dentures, dropping them into her apron pocket for safe keeping and gives you a predatory, gummy smile and tells you "momma's gonna make you feel so goooood".

omg, were you stalking us?

that's almost exactly how it went, except what she actually said was "tell me if a customer sits down, i'm the only one working the grill tonite"

That's why Family Guy is a cartoon...

;) ;)

No; It's why "Ted" was a movie about a stuffed bear, & "A Million Ways To Die..." starred Seth himself.

I noticed (without watching it) that last night, "Family Guy" put the characters in the Simpsons' land, or vice-versa. (I forget exactly.) I was watching E hours later, & learned Krusty's father died, which reminded me how much some people complained all over the 'Net when one of the Griffins (again, forget exactly which) died.

Personally, let people like Jeff & Terry Fator, & funny comics like Jim Gaffigan (nobody need "know of" Ron White) keep the business going, & stick Seth for the rest of his career where good hosts/stars like Conan started theirs, writing for "Simpsons" or "SNL".
