Since I wanted to confirm my memory I looked up SNL first season on Wikipedia. I was correct. I've seen that show about 6 times in the past. But it also said that she was the first "not ready for prime time player" hired.

Yeah so many shows from back then would not fly very well today. Can you imagine All In The Family with Archie Bunker being shown today?
