Male grooming

Hi all,

I'm pretty new here, and pretty new to the idea of getting myself back out there in search of a relationship, sex, and all that. Been divorced just over a year now.

My question, which I'm sure has been addressed here before, is about what a woman seeing a guy's package for the first time would expect in terms of grooming?

Should it be shaved, closely trimmed, or left alone?

Many guys, including me, are partial to a woman being bald. What do women want?

Appreciate all input.

Yeah, my concern with just shaving the thing bald is having someone wonder what kind of player I've been leading up to a new encounter. But at the same time, I don't want a bush that immediately turns them off. I trim now, but man, there's going to have to be a woman I trust involved if I'm going to get my testicles shaved. LOL

I will probably have to resuscitate my inbox after saying this...BUT...

I prefer clean shaved...trimmed if necessary mostly for the same reason I am sure a guy prefers a woman shaved. I just don't want extra hair in my mouth while I am sucking him off. I like the feeling of smooth skin on my tongue and if I am transitioning from the shaft to balls, I would hope the balls are just as smooth.

Go with the trim I say. if she wants it bald then maybe you can oblige her. It certainly wouldn't be as offensive as a major bush, and vice versa.

Well, if my preference is any indication, I love a shaved woman.

At least we've narrowed it down to the bush having to go, in some measure. LOL

As happens just this week my wife bought me a new clipper for personal grooming, as our son seems to have adopted the household one I used to use!

She likes hair on my balls and around junk, but short. She does not like bald. I like a triangle just above my shaft left long enough to be curly and she goes with that because it's "me" as I want to be [I reckon that's a really important part of what you're thinking through my friend].

Im glad you brought this up PapaBear. I was conversing with a younger lady and she said that its now the in thing to do. I told her that I hadnt shave that area except for a surgery. We hit it off and she seemed interested in a possible meeting so I took the plunge and shaved myself clean. Its good to hear from some other ladies on this topic. I have to admit that it feels nice to be clean shaven in a place that hasnt seen a razor since I had a hernia operation when I was younger.
Hopefully, this meeting will take place and she will be pleasantly surprised by my move.

Oh heck me! But "shave" is the wrong word. No-where is that short - but I tell a lie: I'm old enough for some pubic hair to have migrated up the first inch of my shaft and I so HATE that! So that gets shaved but I'm off topic there!

As you know from another thread - though I don't let her near me with the clippers, she gets plenty close enough with her hands and lips and tongue so she likes the end result no doubt about that!

Yes, yes we are. Men look silly shaved bald. Men are supposed to be hairy. There is no greater turn off than shaving stubble, red bumps, or a man with chest/leg hair and a bald crotch!

Am not a fan of "bald" men or men that shave anywhere other than their face but that said, some men can be really bushy. My suggestion is to trim things back a bit. Not nearly bald but just enough to keep those long and stray hairs from going wild.....

I used to be a shaver. But now, I've come to the realization that stubble just plain hurts! If it's a special occasion I'll clean shave, but then we won't be playing much until that stubble softens. I've considered waxing, but haven't gone as far as to do it.

yeah, my big fear with the shaving bald idea, if anyone ever wanted that, is the legendary itching that happens when it starts growing back. I'm a guy. Guys don't handle penile discomfort very well.
