Oh, I see. If a small group of people did something because it supported their ideology, made the data "conform" to their "correct" point of view, it must not have happened as it would require coordination world-wide, for this small group of ideologues to do, what it is that they got caught doing.
Even paranoids have enemies. Just because one cannot organize a perfect conspiracy, doesn't mean that through indoctrination, lots of small groups of people who believe as unflinchingly as you do can influence how 'science' is reported.
Your position would be stronger if you were not so dismissive of fraud.
I notice you have no problem envisioning a grand conspiracy of evil, pollution spewing industrialists and greedy oil executives behind each and every bit of research pointed to by skeptics.
