I have a hard time knowing who's loaded on Lit because there is so much off-the-wall stuff being said. I have a few glasses of wine after work to unwind from the grueling grind.

Just for openers...I don't do drugs. Anymore. I have never been high while behind the wheel of a computer.

That being said. I do partake of a beer occasionally. Not to excess, just one or two with dinner and another two later in the evening. Usually while I'm playing a game. It somehow sharpens my observation of the screen and I do a little better with a little beer. Then again, if my ping goes wacko it doesn't matter how much beer I have, the game sucks.

Sadly, my doctor pretty much ordered me off of pot. Some silly nonsense about how it might be helping the depression, but was conversely compounding the bipolar problem. Hate it because I used to really get into serious cyber sex when on a good buzz.

My stomach doesn't handle booze well anymore, so that's out too.

Most of the time when I'm online now, I'm simply hopped up on nicotine, caffeine, and maybe chocolate.

And if pilot comes out of hiding (he's been MIA for a day or so) and starts giving you shit, we'll handle him for ya.

For people who can't do the FIRST make pot oil THEN use pot oil in brownies method, they just go right ahead and put graham crackers with peanut butter or nutella in the oven, with ground bud in the peanut butter.

Cannabinols are oil-, not water-soluble. Thus: saute. Lightly fry your ground-up sticks-n-stems-n-seeds in butter or olive oil, then add whatever ingredients you fancy. (Try electric lentil soup.) Or sprinkle your powered pot onto a cracker, lay a thin slice of cheese atop that, and stick it in the toaster oven till melted.

I suspect many digestive problems with electric brownies are less related to their cannibinol levels, than to 1) other ingredients, or 2) impurities in the pot.

I'm reminded of a friend who rode buses from Beirut to Kathmandu in 1974. He bought a 'cookie' at the Afghan border. He said its contents seemed to be 10% flour, 10% sugar, 40% hashish, and 40% opium. He reported no gastric distress. He did mention sleeping a lot.

Back in the 60s-70s I tried them all and I get nothing from any of it. A beer goes great with pizza, morphine takes the cut glass edge off pain, lsd was a disappointment. For the most part I got better shit flowing thru my body from natural stuff.

I was also drunk the night I posted pictures of "the main thing" on the GB.

But I imagine a lot of people here, going by their own words are on something some more often than not and....who cares? If it feels good do it as long as its not to the point you're hurting yourself or others.

Trying to look out or stick up for someone is not condescending, its life experience pointing things out to someone with less life experience.

And if you think that is condescending keep in mind I am 46 and my 69 year old father still tells me I have a hell of a lot to learn about "how shit works"

This is the net not many here really know each other, but trust me, in real life, its not so terrible to know a guy or two with a big brother mentality. They can balance out some of the guys who are just thinking about your panties (cyber or otherwise) which of course Pilot has accused me of wanting to do because he can't understand anyone trying to be nice.

As for Pilot? Haters have to hate and I can't imagine what a blow to his fragile ego it was to have a 18 year old female writing better gm than him.

For me? I've always thought very highly of you in the writing regard. Here you are posting great stories at an age where I couldn't get out of my own fucking way at that time

The internet had provided a playground for people to spew their hate with no consequence. Sometimes I wonder if its not a bad thing, they vent, they feel a little better, maybe they don't gun anyone down...

Who knows? What I do know is the world is more full of hate now than ever. You can practically smell it.
