...love her stockings

Wonderful! I'm glad that I have enough self-control to hold the camera steady (and keep both hands on it) whilst capturing the subject*. ;)

(* Okay, so I would actually use a tripod if I were taking those shots for real, but my comment doesn't work as intended if I mention that)

Pulp paperback book covers such as this one had their heyday from the late 1940’s to early 1970’s. They were considered quite scandalous in their prime and were often sold only from under the counter in some of the “less reputable” shops of the era. Viewed today they seem laughably tame and in some ways almost “innocent”. Few of these illustrations ever showed any “naughty parts” but like this one, the best always seemed to tell a very “naughty” story in their own way.

Most of the books themselves were pathetically written and have little value as literature. The cover illustrations though are quite another matter. They have a sort of enduring and alluring quality about them which merit inclusion in any collection of erotic art. The lurid titles, cover blurbs and in some ways, even the scuffs, tears and creases all add to the undeniable charm.
