So I recently figured out that lifes a little more...brighter, better and a tiny bit more bearable when your drunk.

So I am sitting here, Vodka and Cranberry juice in hand enjoying the sun

Life is good..

Not today I'm not, that little indulgence I enjoyed last night. Drank my own body weight in Pinot Grigio. Queue a night from hell, worse morning and a day spent regretting I ever touched a drop. Of course I have vehemently vowed to never drink again, ever. Which probably means come Monday morning I'll be opening another bottle

I've been able to spend some good time with family and friends so life is good. I'm going to watch some football tonight! I've noticed that my happiness is directly related to my perspective rather than my actual circumstances.

Hah, I had the same thing happen to me just the last weekend. Though my choice of poison was Rum, Tequila, White Wine (sav) and a bit of Vodka too...

So that was all on me.

Finally starting to enjoy my night. Sitting on the couch drinking a glass of Moscato - quite delicious. And so now I'm a little tipsy, but that's kind of the point. About half-till-midnight here, and I spent the whole day doing a home improvement project. I'm a bit tired, a little buzzed, partly relaxed, and trying to finally unwind after having stopped working about 2 hours ago, and having FINALLY taken a good long hot shower to clean myself off. So.. for the first time since this morning, finally doing something enjoyable.

*takes another sip of wine*.... Moscato. I quite like this one. It's called... Menage a trois... fancy that.

The alcohol does make things better in most cases. Which is why I'm having a locally brewed beer right now. I'd be drinking my own brew, but it isn't ready yet...
