Hello everyone

So, I was wondering what kind of behavior does a sub gets punished for? Is it only related to a session or are there things in daily life too? And let's say it's a turn on but there is nothing to base a punishment on, what then? Oh and what is the intensity of a punishment? Are they always meant to discipline or are they used for a turn on/fun too?

Punishments vs funishments

It varies for each dynamic. A sub gets punished based on what's discussed. Some use it only in sessions, some use it in daily life, and some don't use punishment at all.

Like funishments? Who needs a reason? Ask and you shall receive. Or make up shit .

Punishments should fit the crime. Some set up a system of different punishments for the severity of the infraction.

Discuss this with your partner (or future partners?). Decide what works for you.

Also, punishment doesn't always mean pain. For some it's standing in a corner. Or writing lines. Or letters of apology. Or kneeling on rice (that's kinda painful (o_0)) Sometimes there may be a time of no talking. Real punishment is usually something you don't like to do. Funishments are just that, "punishment" but fun! (>_>)

Simply and beautifully put, madam. This is often the trouble I have found with subs just getting into the lifestyle and finding they enjoy physical masochism: that ends up not really being a punishment but, as you put it, a 'funishment'.

For some subs I have known - perhaps most - a real punishment would be isolation/silence/a 'disappointed' telling off, etc, far more than a beating. But it's all individual, of course, as with all these things.

As a hus/Dom with a sub/wife most of our punishment is fun stuff but occasionally she needs a reset. These sessions are to reestablish my dominance. They are meant to bruise...lovely bruises followed by fucking her silly. These sessions must reach sub space. She better be well hydrated for these sessions
