another reason why they won't be namedVirtually everything concerning the officer's side of the story is from 'unnamed' sources in the St. Louis PD, with more than one source referred to. There is no way that any official statements are going to be made or reports made public until the investigation is complete and that may take weeks.
On the other hand reporters usually don't use unnamed sources unless they have a good level of credibility, the editors usually make certain of that.
Regardless, the 'eye witnesses' statements started falling apart with the autopsy and the recent revelations of the injuries to the officer just ads more to the mix.
As I write this I'm hearing that the officer's account of the encounter is being made public.

I love some of the parallels to Zimmerman.
The latest is that the cop was not injured, they just know it, they have video proof...
The, when it was proved that there were injuries sustained, then they were not sufficient grounds to shoot.
It's the same fucking story template. There are so many people, from the beginning screaming about how how the case was shut and closed, who are now being presented with differing accounts and simply denying that there could be any possible alternative to their original take on the story. And even after the Zimmerman trial, the same people stuck to the original story: kid, whitey, no self-defense, execution, hunting...,
The parents of the innocent Ute should pay attention to the press appearance of the Foley family today.
Amazing how many aspects are similar. Oh, except for the 'stalking' narrative.

The pattern I notice most, is the grass gets greener every time you post.
I'm struck by how much negative information has come to light, often belatedly, about both Martin and Brown, who initially were painted in most quarters as great examples of fine young black men, but who turned out to be anything but.
As you know, it's not about those kids. It's about finding someone to blame for the problems in the black community. Certainly has nothing to do with failed family unit, no value placed on education, high rate of teenage birth, etc.
It's all because the white man has "open season on Negros" as one of the more dimwitted posters named his thread.
Some of the information may be in the hands of the grand jury, the release of which could be unlawful. No?

I'm not going to break out a violin, but it really does pain me that there are so many examples of fine young black men, and fine young black women, for that matter, not to mention older examples, who get tarnished in all this. The people on both sides who are making this racial, and generalizing about it, are doing real wrong. Wrong to the vast majority of both whites and blacks. It's a damn shame.
Other than the race-baiting, pretty much nonsense.
12 million arrests per yr, only about 400 shootings (many justified).
Dorian, the dreadlocked kid, was more accomplice than witness, and the cigarellos stolen are used for drugs, and Brown had marijuana in his system, and the cop may have had an orbital fracture.
Those who do the real damage are those anti-white agitators and protesters who are willing to rip apart a town, burn it down, threaten to kill a police officer and his family, steal the property of others, and then lie to the police and the world as to the reasons why.
There are those like Barack Obama, declaring himself to be the post racial president, appointing a like minded AG, themselves racists, seeing all and governing through the prism of race, while both prejudge one case after another.
Blacks often seem to see everything through the prism of race.
6 TIMES BLACK AMERICANS JUMPED TO RACIAL CONCLUSIONS
Only a deep-seated belief in the corruption and evil of America’s criminal justice system justifies these numbers. If you believe the system targets black people, then outrage is always justified before the facts are in – and in many cases, even after the facts are in. And the media’s consistent desire to drive that perception continues to contribute to the vast racial gap in American beliefs about law enforcement and criminality.

That should tell you something.
And what would that be?
