How to sign up to Lit Chat?

I keep getting the message: DB Error: connect failed CANNOT CONNECT! when I try to sign up to lit chat. can someone help me out please?

Lots of people gripe about it but, bear in mind that Lit is free and I guess facilities like that cost money so...

I miss it, used to go on there all the time. Wonder where everyone went. Anybody know any good alternatives? Have tried xxxchatters but nobody talks.

think we all got scattered to the four winds, heard of a few places that people went to but they are all pretty quiet

That's a shame, its obviously a popular feature so can't understand why no other chat site has hoovered up all the dispossessed lol

not sure either.

There was news a few months back that lit was working on a new chat platform but I've not heard anything since.

Every now and then the chat is up but once enough people find out it is up it starts to crash again till it crashes and does not reboot
