New Witness to Michael Brown Shooting

And I'll continue the editorial.

There are those that say the officer has no probably cause because at the time of the confrontation he was unaware of the strong arm robbery. (And we do know the robbery is a fact because Brown's pard has confessed to the robbery along with Brown.)

So Brown and his bud were merely jay-walking so why the belligerence on Brown's part? Because even though the officer may not have known at the time that Brown was leaving the scene of a strong-arm robbery, Brown knew that he was leaving the scene of a strong-arm robbery, he knew that he and his bud had the goods on them, and he had NO idea that the officer didn't know. As a matter of fact it would not be unreasonable for Brown to believe that the officer did know and was there to arrest him.

Brown's state of mind is just as open to conjecture as the officer's.

I need some way of indicating that I'm screwing around and not serious.

Can you suggest another?

Loved the tar pits reference. I'm a dinosaur! Hopefully a meat eater, I'd hate to become a vegetarian.

Salads. Bleh.

Just jump in, you're not far away.

The guilty flee when no man pursueth.

Just watched a video clip of Ferguson's Finest, one member taunting protesters, "Bring it! Bring it, you fucking animals!"

And the General Board Police Apologists here wonder why police get such a bad reputation?

Seriously, this entire police department seems, at best, dysfunctional and at worst incompetent.

I'm not the least bit surprised now that that incompetent buffoon of an officer murdered that citizen.

That will draw a suspension, I expect. But not while they need the manpower.

You are not supposed to lose your cool and become verbally abusive.

Obviously the police in that town have a shitty reputation with its citizens.

It's the worst of all worlds, an undisciplined, poorly trained, beligerent and incompetent police department given military-grade hardware. It's a recipe for disaster, and it is.

Then the governor hands it over to that drama queen Ron Johnson? from the state police....lol

Man he let the cameras go to his head faster than I have seen in a while.

I think that comment is more demonstrative of the citizens having a shitty reputation with that officer.

You seem to have reading comprehension problems.

The incompetent unprofessional buffoon in uniform lacks the temperament to be a professional police officer.

The mayor is a piece of work too. His "we ain't never had no problem with the coloreds" speech (paraphrased) shows he is as tone-deaf as the incompetent police chief.

Yeah that police chief was out of his league speaking to the press. Holders comin down tomorrow I think.

See, I hadn't attacked you. My reading skills are fine. You see what you want to see. I don't like to coddle corrupt cops.

How did you know it was a Ferguson officer? (Pure curiosity.)

My understanding is Ferguson has fifty some officers. They could barely form a line shoulder to shoulder across the street. The majority of the officers there on riot duty now are state police and/or lent from other jurisdictions.

Well, he certainly had a bad day.

But I suspect he is a bit short on sleep, and bit long on adrenaline and stress.

While this doesn't excuse his behavior, it doesn't make it open season on him either.

I suppose you've never said things in the heat of the moment that you wouldn't normally say?

But policemen aren't human to you, are they?

There was nothing in that paragraph showing the police had a bad reputation with the citizens. There was a comment by one policeman that he never should have made.
