2014 Negro Hunting Season in Missouri

According to the autopsy, Brown was shot six times - every one striking the front of his body. I don't have a link because I just heard this on the news.

How can you tell the range? The clothing, which would have shown gunpowder traces, was not included in the examination.

The bullets did not appear to have been shot from very close range because no gunpowder was present on his body. However, that determination could change if it turns out that there is gunshot residue on Mr. Brown’s clothing, to which Dr. Baden did not have access.

I wonder why he doesn't have access to the clothing?

Still, six gunshot wounds? Ridiculous.

And that signifies WHAT? Meaningless minutia unless it contradicts the forensics and the testimony.

Quite frankly all that means is that Brown was further than 2 yards away from the weapon that killed him. How is this known? Powder residue. This information is NOT new, surprising, or inconsistent with any of the known facts. From an evidential standpoint it has NO significance at all.

But morons will grasp at any straw.

You know, I don't like you very much. You come off as an arrogant prick in every one of your posts.

A guy, kind of a douchebag, stole $50 worth of cigars from a store. He could do it because he was bigger than most.

He was gunned down in the streets for it. No judge. No jury. No justice. And that is seriously wrong.

But, there are only three questions that need to be answered:
1) Why did he do it?
2) How can we teach the next douchebag to make better choices?
3) What can be done to demilitarize domestic law enforcement?

The gunpowder traces would be part of the forensics. It could make a big difference. If the gun muzzle was just inches away from the deceased, it would probably mean a struggle between the cop and the large young man. If the gun muzzle was twenty feet away, it would mean there was probably no struggle.

The location of the wounds in the front of Brown's body contradict some alleged eye witness testimony that he was running away.

We don't know the range yet and can't know without examining Brown's clothing.

Correct, but that's typical Ishmael, injecting his predictable douchebaggery statements into every one of his posts just to piss people off.

Well, we know that it was more than 2 yards, right?

Does that contradict any testimony? No. It's not an issue, it's a confirmation.

How can anybody know that? The range is calculated from the amount of gunpowder traces and those would appear on Brown's clothing, not on his bare skin. A partial exception might be the head wound, assuming he was not wearing a cap, but the ME would be able to tell more from the other injuries.

Within a very short range they can approximate. Beyond a certain range, relatively short, there will be no residue so they can say with some degree of certainty that the victim/assailant/target was at least x yards or further away.

3. Wear a hoodie.

4. Drive after swimming.

It's evidence...

;)

... it only proves how stressed the shooter was and how determined the Ute was to engage in suicide by cop.

Still in full victim blaming mode, Chief?

Once again you bring great shame to yourself, your family, your tribe, the USMC, and good ole Sensei K.....

Edited to add:

I just watched John Oliver's scathing takedown of the Ferguson police mentality.

...and I thought about you.

Why? Because for YEARS, you've been lecturing us on "broken window" policing, where every social control is strictly regulated by the police....every public citizen action is subject to police scrutiny.

Your "broken window" chicken has done come home to roost, son.

There is a great deal of public animoisity and antipathy towards the local police. It seems the public in Ferguson, particularly the minorities, don't appreciate big brother controlling their lives.

I know you are shocked....SHOCKED....by this unprecedented development.

As a glibertarian, you've long advocated for maximum freedom for yourself and simultaneously advocating minimal freedom for those who don't "deserve" it: non-whites, non-male and non-English speakers.

Now it seems that even those not like you want the same freedoms you demand for yourself!

How bout them apples, Chief!

A few items to add to your list:

A. bum rush a cop with a gun
B. rob a store
C. loot

I'm thinking that once the evidence is in, it will be presented to a grand jury, and the officer will be indicted.

It will probably be presented to a grand jury before all the facts are in, and if it is, the chances of the cop not being indicted are slim and none. Ham sandwich, and all that.

I agree. He might be. And perhaps deservedly so. But the evidence is beginning to pile up against the deceased. Apparently the officer had some sort of eye damage. And about a dozen witnesses have corroborated his story of the deceased rushing towards him. It may not be as cut and dried as it looks on the surface. Certainly not as clear as "negro hunting season".

Bullshit.
