I figured I had a good story, I was pleased with it when I finished, but I didn't expect it to do as well as it did, so I am pleasantly surprised.

My only question is where does scouries come up with all these numbers?

Does he pull them out of his ass? If not then someone has way too much time on their hands or something.

By the way, there is no such thing as AIR. It is a fake association of one and scouriesworld is scouries. It only has one member and that of course is scouries, so anything he says about AIR is just him talking. Lies and bullshit, are his best friends.

I'm very pleased with my final score for my primary story - "Camping on Nude Day." Score-wise, it bounced around a bit. Interestingly, it usually saw a drop shortly after I would make forum post. Still, I'm pleased with how it's scored.

I tried re-reading it the other day and couldn't get through it. It felt clunky to me. I'm unsure how I would change it, but I'm glad I wrote it and put it in front of the world and the world was kind.

Well, my second story (A MATTER OF TIME) did not come in dead last. Not quite. That's a relief. And my first story (A FALL OF MOONDUST) shows 4.04 in the official scoring but 4.50 on my page now. Still no winner but not too bad. Congratulations to the winners! Sour lemons to the luzers!

Official scoring? I hope you weren't talking about what our resident troll posted above. That's nothing more than numbers collected from public sources, which are always out of date because most of them only update once every 24 hours.

The numbers you see on your private author page are as close to real-time as they get, and even that may not reflect the stats used to determine the winners. Even though the announcement date is known, nobody knows when the cut-off for voting is except Laurel.
