do what?
and don't ask me about the ins and outs of the rules - just like watching the skill. i kind of know the rules, in a vague, hazy way but i don't let them get in the way of the aesthetics lol
offside's a weird ruling.Really easy rules. The objective is to have the most goals by the end of the game. You can use any part of your body except your hands. If the ball leaves the field, the game stops and possession goes to the opposite team (if team A touched the ball last, it goes to team B). When it exits the field through the back line, the opposite team gets a corner shot.
What else... oh yeah, offsides. You cannot pass the ball to a player of your team that is beyond the opposite team's last defender. So, if every defender in the opposite team is standing in the middle of the field, you cannot shoot to a player of your team that is beyond that line, it would be an offside.
And that's it in a nutshell.
EDIT: oh, there are fouls, too. As a defender, you're supposed to tackle the ball, or block the way to the goal, but you cannot hold, tackle down, or otherwise impede movement. This is pretty much up to the referee, but generally speaking it's fine as long as you're going for the ball, not the player. Particularly nasty moves get awarded a yellow card, if you get a second one, you get a red card and that means you're out. Some things may get you a red card straight away — e.g., the last defender running behind an attacker with a free run for the goal, who decides to push him to the ground, from behind. Instant red card...

how're tricks, tso?![]()
Yes, Harry; the idea being that if a defender manages to tackle the ball and it goes out of the field, the attackers still get to continue the game from the side line (or back line).
