How do I stop chickening out from cumming?

Everytime I ride my dildo I'm so close to but then I begin to tense up and my heart pounds like crazy. The feeling ends up scaring me right when I'm on that edge and then I stop. Why do I do that?

Taking the statements at face value and adding in only the small amount of info referenced by the other poster (that we are not talking about a first time orgasm but rather a replication of an intense experience) you may just be too much in your own head when you should be letting your body lead.
The easiest way to solve the issue would be to not be in control at that moment at all. Then you won't have the choice of pulling back. By that I mean find someone who--on IM, voice, or cam--will let you play the sub. It won't have the thrill of being tied and blindfolded but it will carry you past that mental block if you can immerse yourself in it and truly surrender control.
Outside of that, you may try limiting your sensory input as much as possible to only those things which you want your body to focus on. Raise or lower the temp. of the room, cover your eyes, choose the sounds, smells, textures all to heighten as well as slightly distract from that one primary sensation. Nipple clamps are wonderful for this. So is placing yourself in a somewhat head downwards position since, along with the other activity, it creates the most delicious dizziness.
If you enjoy watching video as you engage in self pleasure consider turning on a camera. I am not suggesting broadcasting but rather letting the image on the screen be you. You may find you will quickly become caught up in watching the "girl on the screen" and be overtaken by the pleasure when it (well) comes.

If you're at all curious I've had all of these experiences in various forms. One of them I've had from both sides. The last was discovered rather by accident but has become a sort of favorite.

Okay

First:
OP's handle is FirstTalkingRiddle

Second: OP wants to know how to stop "chickening out"

My guess would be, if this is a riddle, then the answer is probably something like: Go out and find a cock.

Unlikely that's the answer, but the best I got. I think I deserve points for seeing this is a word game rather than an honest request for an answer.

The question seems too simple to be an honest request for an answer. It seems more like a dare to figure it out than anything else.

There's another possible answer that makes more sense to me, but I'm not going to point it out because that would mean one of Lit's primary rules has been broken.

It looks more like someone who's lazy and wants the board to do their character development for them if you ask me.

I think you may be on to something about this being some sort of riddle...

Do you have weight issues? This doesn't sound like the typical reaction. Might not be safe if you have heart or weight conditions.

excuse me?
Did you really just suggest that an ORGASM might not be safe for a person who is overweight???
WTF?

I think it had more to do with the weighty issue of getting to the 100 post mark - that avatar thing and all. W̶i̶s̶d̶o̶m̶ was flowing thick and fast today.

Ahhh
Such heavy lifting. I hope he's in good shape so he can take it.

It seems like you have guilt and repression issues. I have been with women who cried after orgasm. Once they told me it was a good cry I felt complimented. If your man doesn't appreciate your strong, wet and vocal orgasms then he is crazy. The whole point of sex is pleasure for both partners. I've been proud to make women have an orgasm like that.

You are fine. You are wonderful. Just relax and enjoy it.

I think this might be helpful to a lot of women. (Although, if the OP was just a riddle, it's a clever one.)

Okay, I'm just curious. How many women "ride" their dildo when masturbating? I know we're all different, but riding a cold, inanimate dildo just doesn't seem like it would bring a woman to orgasm. I mean, it's not a large percentage of wonen who are able to get there via PIV sex, so how many realistically get off like this on their own? Now, a vibrating item placed on the clit? Different story.

Girl, with a proper dildo you have both hands free. Do you need a drawing what you can do with all those hands and fingers while you are riding a dildo?

Judging from this reaction. This might be an example of How Not to get into a girl's panties.

If you look up his post history I think you may find more such examples.

Yes, a drawing would be nice.

I wonder if this isn't more common

I agree with Yorker, however I wonder if this isn't more common in young women just starting sex than we are letting on. Or even older women that get pregnant right after (or just before) marriage and stay pregnant for five or six kids. I think it happens a lot. The husbands idea of sex is jump on, come and go to sleep. And the wife's don't learn to come. Or are afraid of it in front of their spouse.

Oh well, as you insist.
