I struggled with this problem in the first iteration of my picture thread and that's one of the reasons I let it die. For the current thread, I decided to only make and post images when I felt like it. I do it for me. If no one else wants to look (and, at times, it seems like that's the case), that's fine, too. I think if you're doing this to try to please everyone on this board, you're doing it wrong.

For what it's worth, if you don't post any pictures for a week or three and your thread gets no love because of it, that's probably a good indication that your "fans" are only here for the photos. Fuck 'em. Keep the photos to yourself, or share them with the world, but do it because it makes you happy, not because it makes anyone else happy.

(By the way, black and white always looks better.)
