Can still see where she was standing... don't go there much.

Denny's is a real bitch to get good service from.

I've never even seen a Waffle House before. Is that an east coast thing? The last IHOP I went to was on vacay at Disneyworld 6 years ago. It didn't stand out either. Locally owned joints are great for breakfast.

The Waffle House closest to me sucks. IHOP isn't much better but I've never had a bad cup of coffee at the one close to me. Thats something in their favor to get my vote. Neither can hold a candle to my favorite breakfast joint, The Moonlight Diner.

They're overwhelmingly in the South. In Georgia and the Carolinas, there's basically no highway exit without one.

IHOP is OK, but Waffle House wins on price. Plus, grits.

Waffle House!
They do the grits right, can properly cook soft-scrambled or eggs over easy, and if you order bacon (or extra bacon), they will cook them into your waffles if you ask.
