last night I was told my daughter's bf sees me as a second mum.
clearly I need to work on being mean and scary.

Good morning England, nothing on till 1.30pm, so I think I'm going to varnish the cupboard doors this morning.

Bruins win in OT. Awesome. It's a shame that they don't play these games in the morning so that I could watch them at work.

I mean, come on. They have a morning skate. Just play. The sportswriters would appreciate it. Their editing might even improve.

Quirky is as Quirky does...

The offspring just hugged me and said, "I just love my pretty, quirky, mama. When did you get so quirky?"

Quirky???!!

Okay, I'm quirky.

"Fantasy Bluemuse" updated to include a plaid blouse and a striped skirt. And a facial tic.

I'm not quite ready to be an expat "wife".

But apparently we're going.

And I kind of agreed.

So there it is.

That would be a lovely way to start the day.
Maybe tomorrow.

On another note...I'm entirely too impatient.

On the prowl Wings is scary.

Much scarier than accidentally falling on a penis Wings.

It's been said that Marylanders will put Old Bay Seasoning on just about everything: crabs, of course, but also pasta, pumpkin seeds, Cheetos, even chocolate.

This year, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the seasoning mix, Maryland-based Flying Dog Brewery is releasing a special-edition beer brewed with Old Bay. Skeptics abound, but early reviews are overwhelmingly positive.

In short, it feels like Old Bay is everywhere these days, and not just in Maryland. Old Bay's Facebook page has nearly half a million 'likes.' On its Web site, the company claims 50 million ounces of the seasoning were sold last year — that works out to about 8.3 million of the little yellow tins that are ubiquitous on dinner tables in the Chesapeake Bay region. The company also maintains an "Old Bay Nation" fan site that collects testimonials from Old Bay enthusiasts worldwide.

I finally got some Old Bay seasoning!

They really don't sell it here, and I had several recipes that called for it, but had not been able to try them. Lo and behold, I was at a grocery store I do not usually go to last month, and there it was. I now have to find those recipes. I remember one was for slow oven baked pork back ribs...

Next you'll be calling every one, Hun and putting vinegar on your fries.

bahahahaha

That thing at the top of the page that GFY posted...I keep staring at it. I think I'd have a hard time figuring out which bit fits where.
