like to be beaten

I'm pretty sure that thing is called a strop, not a strap. :cattail:
The actual barber's leather instrument used for sharpening a razor is indeed a strop.

IME, either your buttocks and upper thighs are *very* strong or the person who wielded the strop was more gentle than I would have been  Third alternative: Your camera's color register needs adjustment.

I suspect its the camera. The surrounding skin (non butt) seems unnaturally red.

I find this whole "likes to be beaten" thing so conflicting. The thought is very arousing and erotic. In practice it, well, hurts!

My SO seems to have a taste for spanking which we are slowly exploring. The warm up swats aren't so bad, but as it progresses it really starts to sting! I invariably find myself squealing and wiggling to get loose.

Hmmm. Perhaps "thuddy" would be better than "stingy".

Sometimes it is the thought of something that proves more erotic than the reality. Sometimes it's a case of finding the right way to pursue a particular fantasy for you.

Fourth alternative, these pics are not the OP? Because I am having a hard time reconciling those two bodies, and the artsy feel of the second photo vs the stark reality of the first...
I think they may just be photos that the OP is using to illustrate, as they do not make the claim that the pics are of them.

As to reconciling real life with fantasy, yeah... Discovering how to meld the two in the correct quantity and with a method that works for you is highly rewarding

I did a reverse image lookup on both images and came up with nada. This doesn't necessarily mean that either or both aren't professional photos, it simply means it doesn't come up on that particular search engines' list of commonly searched images.

In my opinion, it is both the same person but they artistically tried to improve the look of the second image which gave you that impression of it being professional. A halo is a cheap way of doing that:
Given:
  • the image is square and should have been zoomed in and landscape oriented
  • that the subject isn't centered in the image but has a huge "border" of black at the top
  • the halo isn't round (or better ovoid) but sort of parallelogram-ish
this is a rookie attempt at editing their unprofessional taken photo.
