Hi, I am in my early twenties and stuck in the conservative south. I have been interested and pursuant of a D/s relationship for several years now but find myself with limited options due to my location and inexperience. I'm picky because I am safe and cautious. I have exhausted internet sources for information and joined more groups than I can remember. I am desperate to explore this aspect of my personality with a real time, experienced, patient Dom or Master near me. I'm hopelessly out of options and desperately seeking sincerity.

Yep, I have to agree with you. I'm even further in the south, and even a more conservative state, Texas, and down here there are D/s relationships, clubs, activities, meetings, newsletters, ...., and a slew of such things all over the place. In Austin, near the university, it's even more out in the open.

Although I don't want to jump in and say she's not looking in the right places, ....it just seems to me that she's not looking in the right places. ;=)

Having been born and raised in lower Alabama, I know what you mean but I have seen several websites devoted to this. They are local, in Mobile and Baldwin counties. Whether or not they are "good" or have a decent community is something I've never investigated, I just know they exist. Best of luck to you.

Could you educate me, then, as to where I should be looking? I've tried everything from Fetlife to every Google search I could think of. Most of the groups in or near my location lead to pages that are no longer active.
