Specifically, dogs and horses would be great. Would be even better if they were nonconsensual/forced on the girl taking it.

I haven't been a member of this site for very long, and I'm having trouble figuring out if animal play is an allowed topic.

May seem kind of fucked up to some, but I figure that if incest is a topic, beastiality/zoophilia shouldn't be too far off. :cattail:

Technically Bestiality is out of bounds. However the rule only applies to real animals. Orcs bringing back elves to mate with their Griffons so they can have sphinxes in their army is fair game.

You can't fuck Secretariat but Mr Ed and Francis are fair game.
Stay away from Rin-Tin-Tin but definitely do Scooby-Doo.
I'm not sure about the status of My Mother The Car.

I'm not completely sure Mr. Ed is in bounds. Scooby probably is though. A few years ago there was a story I forget the details but it was about female law enforcement agents who were trained to work with talking dogs called DAWGS (it stood for something) it got pulled down in a few days. The rules are kinda subjective.

Huh. I'm wondering why it's a no-no when I can read about other things which wouldn't be considered "moral." Anyone know why the rule exists or if Literotica has ever been asked to consider changing the rules?

I'm just saying, if freedom of speech is that big a deal to them then why is it a problem?

I can't be the only one feeling this way. Scooby Doo ain't gonna cut it lol. xD

The simple fact is that they won't change their policy anytime soon, so if you want to read it, you need another site.

Well, that's unfortunate. I was happy to find an organized site like this that seemed pretty open-minded. :(

I can understand sticking to the policy, though. Maybe one day they'll broaden their horizons a bit and include more genres. I know there's a huge community devoted to it that would be happy to find a place like this.

You seem to think it's a matter of them having some personal bias against it and that you can just convince them how awesome girls fucking zoo animals is. It's not. Underage sex and bestiality brings attention they don't want, and they're too big to fly under the radar.

Are a couple of aspects here. First is that the owners of this private site are entitled to set whatever guidelines they want. As a business, they are OBLIGATED to set guidelines they consider best for the business. Since LIT is the biggest erotica site around, those guidelines are likely a major factor in LIT's success. If a process works, don't break it. If LIT became just another anarchic fuck-the beasts-and-children site, would it retain its prominence?

Another consideration is that, for an author, rules are NEEDED. It doesn't take much talent or effort to write total trash fiction where anything goes. (I tend to dislike MC and magic stories, they seem rather like cheating.) It DOES take a bit of creativity to write something interesting that skirts the limits. I'll even posit that limits promote creativity.

For example: We can't post stories here about children fucking. Ah, but suppose I write about underage siblings who are killed and reincarnated simultaneously, their human minds lodged into a couple of big juicy hermaphroditic banana slugs? Since they're sentient non-humans, they can fuck merrily.

(Yes, I'm actually working on a reincarnated banana slug story. You have been warned.) (Ooh, and I've just now thought of a great tragi-comic ending. The creativity just keeps on flowing.)

Another approach to the rules: Be suggestive, not explicit. No, stories of awesome girls fucking zoo animals are not allowed. But a character could mention visiting a live sex show in 1950's Tijuana where a woman fucked a horse -- as long as the bestiality isn't described, just alluded to. I just read a tale where an 18-year-old lad gives expert cunnilingus "using tricks he was taught years before". The underage sex is implied, not described. No problem.

Limits are whetstones against which authors hone their skills. Readers benefit. Huzzah!

I can respect that. Zoo is not everyone's cup of tea, and you two are right about how making an exception could open the floodgates to allow the truly depraved stuff in.

I was just explaining my expectations, and now I have a better idea of what this place is about. Sticking to your guns is something that just has to happen sometimes.

No worries, I can appreciate what Literotica provides in other areas and how it encourages erotica as an art form. Looking forward to my time here. :)

What's so bad about a Warg? (Those things the Orcs ride in Lord of the Rings?)
Or a Unicorn? For your purposes what difference does putting a horn on the horse do? Because for Lit's purposes that horn makes it not an animal.

It doesn't need to be full on Scooby Doo, Fenris would do.

I like where you're going with that. I've never considered mythical animals before, but I suppose they have all the qualifying characteristics haha.

Do you know authors who specialize in stories like this? I'm feeling pretty alone here so far.

-Yeah I definitely agree with you on the mind control story issue.(it's not only cheating, but it's sex without consent.

The rules of Literotica are why I'm here.

Literotica management doesn't impose moral judgment. They simply apply with reason, equal measurements of free speech and lawfulness.

It is non-consent. I'm not sure at all how it's cheating. Not any more than say horny cheer leaders.

It amazes me that zoo almost always gets grouped together with underage children, I don't understand why.. There is no connection between the two.

Lit. used to allow beasty/ zoo, it has been along time maybe like 10 yrs ago...

Animals and underage children have one thing in common: they cannot legally give consent to sex. Therefore, by definition, sex with either one is non-consensual. That's what they have in common.

Well, that and the smell. But that's beside the point.

It was more than ten years back, more like fourteen or fifteen but they used to allow underage, snuff and bestiality. And a cool as fuck choose your own adventure that I still don't know why they got rid of. The others they dropped for all of the above reasons and ultimately because they felt like it.

It's cheap lazy & worst of all it's rape.

Again how is that any lazier than honry cheerleaders, or dozens of other story ideas. As for the rape, yawn, that's a very popular subject. That's just pandering to the audience. Which I guess is lazy, but it's lazy like when you scream "God Bless America!" at your concert.

From the site's beginning until some point within 2002 Lit "technically" allowed bestiality and "hard core rape" (different than what the current "non consent" category is) stories. That being said; however, a "sister site" called All Extreme Sex hosted the things Lit could not host due to their server. The stories there belonged to Lit authors. I've never seen any sex stories with characters under eighteen, nor any snuff tales, so *if* Lit did have them it was before 1999. (And I know their oldest copyright I've seen goes as far back as '97.)

At some point after 2002 someone called S. Sarge bought All Extreme Sex and literally erased/deleted all of the Lit authors' stories and added his own. So, the link will still work, but you will not find the same content as back in the day.

Now you're just being silly.

Meaning, I can't top THAT one!

Horny cheerleaders probably exist. Mind control probably doesn't. (No, I'm not a CIA shill.) Of course, horny unicorns probably don't exist either, but that doesn't seem to inhibit authors.

My objection to mind control and easy magic is that they're TOO easy. ANYTHING can happen, with no constraints -- thus the author needn't be very creative. I like magic tales where magic has a price, where every spell costs the mage blood or years or weakness, where every spell must thus be cost-justified. Stephen King (FIRESTARTER), Barbara Hambly (THE WINDROSE CHRONICLES), Larry Niven (THE MAGIC RUNS OUT) come to mind as having written of the cost of magic. An MC story where the controller runs a risk of irretrievably losing themselves inside the controlled -- now THAT could be interesting. But ordinary hocus-pocus is too fucking lazy.

But if you just want a stroker about an elf child fucking a magic unicorn, well, have at it.

Literotica used to allow everything like every other website not owned by AOL, and hell probably some of those simply because there were no laws. You wanted to watch snuff, there were sites. You wanted to watch two girls one cup and stuff that makes it look tame, there were sites.

Not kidding, there were literally places to go online where you could watch anything you wanted. Then laws started being written because people complained at the crap their kids, and usually husband, were looking at. Why the beastiality, and underage, have mostly gone away. Still can be found however just have to look.

They were removed from here because Laurel and Manu didn't want to deal with the government and those two things were a small part of the site anyway. Can still find beastiality on here, it's in the fantasy and non human sections. Sometimes it is in erotic horror. ;)
