And now we wait for more results... Meanwhile, my shoes are too loose again.

Another super-fun day yesterday. Great sex last night. A couple of free days while my friends explore outside my city. Lost another pound this week. Diet shake thing seems to be working. At the moment, I can't think of anything to complain about, but I'm sure I'll come up with something.

What the fuck is this bullshit. NO SMOKED CHICKEN IN AMERICA?! Or rather, extremely overpriced smoked chicken in America. That shit is $10 in Supermarkets.

I WANT TO GO BACK TO AUSTRALIA

Fuck that shit.

We have Mexicans.

Their food is the bomb.

Australia is about as hospitable to human life as the moon is.

It's mostly barren wasteland, filled with kangaroos and tarantulas.

You ought to thank your lucky stars you escaped.

OKAY I have something to bitch about besides this headcold: Adagio's blends section. But I gotta do stuff first, so...later.

OKAY I ate a tuna sandwich and did some work, so now I'm ready to rant.

So for years I've bought tea from Adagio because it's high-quality with great variety. I even loved it when they switched from their tins to the eco-friendly ziplocks. One of the neater things about Adagio is their blends section, in which you can make your own tea by mixing their various teas, give it a name and custom label, and other people can try it too.

Within the last few years, they started a Fandom blends section - so you could make Dr. Who or Harry Potter fan teas or whatever. I don't really care about any of that, but I thought it was a savvy move on Adagio's part. Didn't mind it as an additional tab on the Blends section.

So today after drinking the last scoop of my cinnamon tea, I login to Adagio, cart a couple of my usual standards (Cinnamon, Hazelnut, etc.) then click on the Blends section (which I haven't done in a bit) in hopes of discovering a new exciting tasty drinkable, and was absolutely stunned to find that it is ALL FANDOM BLENDS. The top page is nothing but tea blends based on television shows and movies. There is literally no way to browse the teas by flavor or type or anything other than movies/comics/other-random-stuff-no-related-in-any-way-to-a-tea's-taste. Sure, you can put "cinnamon" under Tags and search, but that yields a mere 41 matches.

I understand that they're probably making tons of money of non-tea people who want to collect little tins named Tony Stark and Thor and such but fuck, man - I have to see enough Disney and Marvel and random entertainment corporation crap on billboards and Internet adverts and magazines and such. Every fourth tumble on any Tumblr owned by anyone under the age of 30 is some reference to some stupid TV show.

I don't give a pigeon shit about Dr. Who, or Supernatural, or Thor, or Harry Potter. No slight on those who do, but - I just want to buy some fucking nice tea.

Must it be so hard?

Am I the only one who isn't completely obsessed with some TV or movie franchise to the point where I will structure my food purchases around which products have Game of Thrones characters on the label?

I feel like an alien. An annoyed alien, who stuck with a reorder of a pumpkin-cream-cinnamon thing.

I just stick with Barry's. Tetley's 'British Blend' in a pinch.

"Now set down and I'll wet the tae."

Almost got my nose broken at the gym this morning!

Whoooooooo, that was close. Also, my response times are shot. Maybe I wasn't as ready as I thought.

You can't ever let them catch you ogling the hot yoga girls, that's your problem.

What is it with all the wind-driven fires? The one in San Francisco, one in Houston, and now one in Boston that killed two firefighters. Is this all polar-vortex related?

What kind of shake?

Wings, last night I dreamed I moved to Minneapolis and was trying to get around on a bicycle, and you kept telling me I was crazy.
