Six Ways America is Like a Third-World Country

That's a very weak justification, considering the costs on a federal scale. Especially since it's not in the best interest of society to support women getting pregnant and thus disappearing from the work-force for maybe a year or more.

It might be my American mindset, but I'm still not getting it. At least guys ought to get paid for having sex too... in the name of equal opportunity...

Sounds like a fairly good plan for me, especially considering that there are single fathers in the world.

7. The murder of 50 million babies...

A report out of the EU contains some disturbing statistics relating to violence against women, finding that about a third of women in the EU—some 62 million women—have been subjected to physical or sexual violence since the age of 15. As incidents of this nature are widely underreported, the rate of victimization could actually be even higher than this survey reveals. Surprisingly, Denmark, found in a UN study last year to be the happiest country in the world and a nation noted for its progressive attitudes toward women, has the highest rate of reported violence against women in the EU, with 52 percent of the women interviewed reporting abuse.

Simple: Danish women need easier access to guns. Nothing says "No!" like the muzzle of a .45 Compact...

As a child, I was taught to obey rules....whether they were rules from my parents, schools, city, county, state, etc. I did my best to do that. If I was speeding (happened once in my life,) I got a ticket and paid for my mistake. I knew the rules, what was expected of me and what happens when I do not follow them.

Prinsons are in place for those people who know the rules and choose to break them. My traffic ticket was my punishment. If someone kills another human being, the punishment should be more. If someone continually commits crimes, they deserve to be punished as well.

So you're saying that prisons are meant to house rule breakers? Don't you think that maybe your upbringing had more to do with your choices rather than a fear of staying out of prison?

Being law abiding citizens has ZERO to do with skin color. There are millions of people (all colors) who do not break the law. There are those who choose to break the law (regardless of skin color). When someone chooses to break the law, that person does not deserve to be with those who choose to abide by the laws.

This is not a race issue. This is a law abiding issue.

I never said it was a race issue so I'm wondering where this is coming from. You still haven't answered how do you think society benefits from imprisoning those that don't follow the rules.

So, are you suggesting that women stop having babies or that only the rich or unemployed have them? (Because those maternity benefits need to stay to ensure the well-being of the mother and the child)

The purpose of incarceration is incarceration. It might not rehabilitate anybody, but it takes persons who have proven themselves dangerous, takes them out of circulation for a time, and puts them where they can only harm other criminals. That's why the crime rate has gone down in the past couple of decades, harsher and stricter and longer-term sentencing -- but I'm wondering whether we're paying too high a price for a low crime rate.

The crime rate fell because black women abort their babies, who don't grow up to prey on people and property. I support abortion 100%. I expect America to breed negroes into extinction.

I think it is one in the same. Knowing that breaking certain laws (rules) would lead to prison made me make choices where that would not be an option.

In essence there is a right/wrong in society. For those who live a life where rights/wrongs matter, then choices are made accordingly. So yes, prison is for those who choose to break the law.

JB's bringing race up was because of me. The fact is looking at the current situation and not seeing race as a large component is daft. Which is why she utterly refuses to address why when alcohol was made illegal and crime went up and white people were getting killed THE LAW GOT CHANGED TO FIT SOCIETY but when the drug wars did the exact same thing to blacks and browns NOBODY GAVE A SHIT. Claiming that race is not an issue in this makes you some combination of lying and stupid.

However look at the greater scope of things. She's a Christian which is really the same as being a slave and it permeates her way of thinking. Kneel, obey, follow the rules. She likely considers Rosa Parks a criminal and not a hero because in her shoes JB would have accepted a poor law and obeyed a stupid one. (Except if it's Obamacare in which case she fully supports loophole abuse). Because that's who she is. You shouldn't waste too much time trying to figure it out.

But isn't the welfare of a child the responsibility of the parents?

Becoming pregnant is a choice after all - a choice that comes with years of financial obligations. People do have the possibility to save up and prepare before tossing the rain-coat...

Are you seriuosly missing the point this hard?

Are you seriuosly missing the point this hard?

Apparently, because I seriously don't get it.

If I do something to deliberately ruin my financial stability - like running up all my credit cards or something - nobody is bailing me out. Why should parents who screw themselves into 18 years of financial responsibilities get a free ride?

Because that's not remotely what's going on. Let's forget the fact that the majority of people on your team are against Planned Parenthood, I'll assume you're a good one who thinks we should pay for that.

Why exactly should a woman not have children ever? Or wait until they are too old? Because that's part of what your path leads to.

Don't think of it as a bail out, think of it as vacation time. And stop thinking that crazy fantasy that women are going to have kids just to get the vaca time.

Quite the contrary - I support Planned Parenthood. They do great work.

Let me turn that around: Why should she? Is it her right to have children just because she possesses the physical ability? To create babies she can't take care of and thus expects you and I to pay for...

If you get money for doing nothing for the people paying you, what else do you call it?

As a general rule I don't do sarcasm. It carries poorly over the internet. So I'd already given you the benefit of the doubt.

It's her biological imperitive. She SHOULD have kids. Europe and to a lesser extent America can tell you what happens when women DON'T have enough kids to keep the machinery running. Lets not forget that unemployment numbers aside we have a bunch of illegals (largely Mexican) who we invite in because we don't have enough labor/spoiled (because we got good at doing shit and refused to pay for it)

You and I however should want to pay for it because the alternative in reality is not her NOT having the child. It's her ending up on food stamps and never paying us back. So do you want to pay a lump sum now and get dividends later or do you want to pay her for the rest of her life, and the kids life since poverty is generational?

If you get money for doing nothing for the people paying you, what else do you call it?

Yeah. That's simply not reality for 90% of people. And it's true for zero great people.

Only six ways? Not even trying. It is a third world country, a corrupt police state.

I wasn't being sarcastic Sean. You can be a supporter of the second amendment without being a religious nut y'know... ;)

 What?? C'mon. Are you serious?

Well, when I'm horny it's my biological imperative to have sex. So you want the state to pay for a call-girl every time... or make it mandatory for any woman to put out when asked? I mean, you're telling me to put out for her since I have to spend part of my life working for free in order to pay for her pregnancy, right? Surely it's only fair that she returns the favor and helps me with my biological needs...

I want her to become financially stable before having kids, like any responsible parent should. Otherwise she might very well end up on food stamps... but so would I if I went out and bought a new Ferrari without sufficient income.

Based on your response I thought you were accusing me of sarcasm. However I am a supporter of the Second Amendment. My argument lies in that so many try to use utter bullshit arguments in defense of a killing tool.

 What?? C'mon. Are you serious?

Dead serious. Technically anybody who dies without a kid can be labeled an abject failure. Personally I think we currently live in a world where I'd rather my philosophy live on than my DNA but that doesn't blind me to the scientific facts. Besides my son will be soaking in my philosophy from the second he's born. . .

First, don't be silly. Second you're not paying for her pregnancy. Third can we apply this loony logic to other things? Can I say refuse you entry to the ER because I don't want to pay for your snowboarding accidents? Should I refuse your children an education because you can't read? Should I deny you protection because you can't be arsed to learn how to fight off an entire gang by yourself? Can I deny you a road because you're too fucking lazy to pave the way yourself?

Like it or not we're in this together, the only thing to discuss is how to get the best possible results.

I want her to become financially stable before having kids, like any responsible parent should. Otherwise she might very well end up on food stamps... but so would I if I went out and bought a new Ferrari without sufficient income.

Well that's pretty much impossible. Following your plan is a large part of why so many industrial nations have declining birthrates. And in this case even if she was financially stable becoming pregnant would make her no longer financially stable unless she's RICH. Not stable, but rich. The kind who can afford to take six months to a year off from work with no consequences. Most people will never find themselves in that situation.

We can however, and should CREATE those circumstances. You want a better society, once again tell me why Europe has better upward mobility than we do. The answer is of course a robust social welfare system that enables work. We don't have that here.

You are so young and completely ignorant to the fact that everything is NOT about race.

To begin to think that NO race other than black/brown is in prison is ridiculous....not even worth the effort to debate that.

As far as being a Christian...you bet I am. Proud of it too! I like rules....makes life easier to understand. I see no point in spending a lifetime fighting against such rules.

As far as Obamacare....it is not a loophole....it is an actual exception that is listed in the pages of that nightmare of a "healthcare" plan. You are just mad you didn't think of it first....:D:D:D:rolleyes:

Why are the prison tariffs for crack cocaine so much higher than for powder? They're exactly the same drug.

No, not everything, but lots of things, this amongst them. Note the dodge on why the law was changed when it was devastating whites but not when it was devastating blacks and browns. Because JB knows the answer.

I know your proud of being a slave and living on your knees. That's fine, I wish you wouldn't vote since you're going off to happy fluffy land and I have to make the best of things here a place you don't give a shit about because you're leaving someday when I'll be rotting but still. I don't begrudge you that, I do however point out that it colors your thoughts.

An exception IS a loophole. I'm not at all mad I didn't think of it first, I'd be ashamed not only to take advantage of it but to be part of the group of people who made it necessary. But I believe in responsibility and things like that. Anyway like I said, you like the rules you agree with.

You like rules, they make life easier. . .you want smaller government that doesn't create as many rules. God I wish I was good enough at double think to be a Republican. Can you please tell me what drugs you're on that allows you contradict yourself and not have your brain explode?

This is America and you are free to call your self a Christian. Whereas, I am a Christian, just not a very good one, you are something else, altogether.
