I haven't been to one in a few years, but I've always had a good time when I have.
One of my favorite stories from a strip club was when my best friend and I got picked to judge an amateur contest. This meant that the girls who were stripping and rubbing their lovely lady bits against us were not professionals, but just exhibitionist wanting a chance to win some money. How come you won't go in one? Get some friends and go visit one, spend a few bucks on overpriced drinks and get a first-hand experience.
They are usually dark, loud, and seedy. Well it's been many years since I've been in one, but I don't think they have changed much. I'm sure there are upscale ones, I just never found any.

When I was in my early-twenties, I was taken to a strip club by my work colleagues during a business trip in the US. My older (all male) co-workers had figured out that I was (very much) a virgin, and that it would be entertaining to observe my reactions. They procured a girl to perform a series of intimate dances for me, with instructions to "drive him wild". I think their plan was to cause me visible embarrassment that they could taunt me about later.

I had stayed reasonably sober that evening and I had an excellent recollection of their drunken antics, which led at one point to an intervention by a security guard. I was fairly certain that their wives wouldn't have liked to hear those stories. From that point on, I seemed to command a lot more respect from those work colleagues.

One of the funniest times I went, was years ago. I took a friend to one he never went to before. I was getting us drinks, while he found us a table. When I reached the table he said a woman wanted to dance with him, and she was only wearing her bra and panties. I told him no, she wanted to dance for him, not with him. I told him to pick one out he liked though. I told him to tell the dj that it was my birthday! They ended up calling me up on stage and had me sit on a chair. Right behind the chair was a pole! Go with another couple! Strip joints have changed over the years and you see lots of couples there! You would be surprised! They are not as raunchy as they use to be!

I have been to a few mostly when I was a transplant in NYC and had very little physical contact with anyone. Checked out Lace and a few seedyer ones in Brooklyn. Have to say that I enjoyed Lace and RIcky's the most. friendly girls, nice ambiance. Only did the private room thing once when I got an unexpected bonus at my job. beautiful afro-philippina woman, god she drove me wild. just go! most of the ones near me are nice. they have the really seedy ones too, but most are "respectable establishments"
Not this trip but a previous one to Vegas ... A group of girls went to a local club.
It was fun. The guys running the place were classy. The girls were beautiful and I didn't feel a need to shower after going into the bathroom.
Overall just another fun night with some entertainment. Afterwards we went to the clubs and that was way more intense!

Last one I went to, the girls were all nice but the building was run down. If I would turn around backwards and hang my head over the short railing with a dollar bill in my teeth, a girl would squat down and take the bill with the lips that don't talk. Quite a site, and close up. Total nakedness is the only way to view at a strip club. ANY cloths and it's not a strip club.
