I received my first DSLR last Christmas, a Nikon D3100, and I haven't been able to put it down. I have no formal photography training, just a love of sharing images and learning through trial and error. I feel like my understanding of all the camera settings have improved greatly and my picture composition has improved as well. But I'm still quite a newbie at this and am constantly pushing myself to improve. My eventual goal is to be able to make prints that are sellable.

Here are a few of my pictures and would love to know what you think. For any of the pros out there, any tips and suggestions for improvement would be greatly appreciated.

May I suggest resizing them and displaying them using codes

Glad you like. I actually forgot my tripod while there. Had to rest my camera precariously on the edge or the bridge to get the shot.

That is one of my favorites. And such an awesome winery too! I highly recommend it to anyone going to Napa.

Drove my younger brother last weekend over the mountains and back for his final quarter at my alma mater. A few pics from that trip, two I snapped from my car driving on the interstate.

No HDR, just a long exposure in the right lighting. Glad you're enjoying my pics so far. . I've actually signed up for an Adobe Lightroom class this spring.
