Ah, I see, not only do you not know what 'remove' means, you have reading comprehension difficulties.I think you don't know what a border is.
Go back to 5th grade.
Ok, let's start with the basics.
Vette said the military could remove illegal aliens.
Next, let's see what the word "remove' means.
re·move
riˈmo͞ov/
verb
verb: remove; 3rd person present: removes; past tense: removed; past participle: removed; gerund or present participle: removing
1.
take (something) away or off from the position occupied.
"Customs officials removed documents from the premises"
take off (clothing).
"he sat down and quickly removed his shoes and socks"
dated
change one's home or place of residence by moving to (another place).
"he removed to Mexico and began afresh"
S. Africanhistorical
compel (someone) by law to move to another area.
"a man is removed to the tribal district of his forbears"
2.
eliminate or get rid of.
"the iron can be removed by filtration"
You can't remove something that's not here
Next, let's see how that would apply in the case of vette's statement.
If you'll reread the definition, since I'm sure you missed it on first reading, there's actually a close example of exactly what vette said.
"he removed to Mexico and began afresh" or, as he meant, "The military will remove them to Mexico"
If they are on the other side of the US border (which he said the military could close, and which you somehow think is addressing my comment) they aren't illegal aliens, and can't be removed to mexico because they are already there.
So closing the borders isn't going to remove people who are already here, one of the things vette mentioned and obviously, at least to most people, the one I was addressing.
Do you understand yet?
