I am in South Carolina, it rarely snows but we get ice storms.

Something calming and refreshing about snow.

Also the comfort of being in a warm house, with a content belly from hot tea and a bonfire heart.

Oh my, I wish. I went to go and look after a girl I teach ballet to on the weekends. She's an absolute angel and she just lights up my day when I see her.

So it was worth braving the winds to build a blanket fort.

I wanted her to take ballet and be my little ballerina but she refuses.

She was in the Nutcracker Ballet one year when she was little enough to have no say.

I was the same when I was little, I absolutely hated doing it but I liked wearing the costumes, but the love eventually transferred to the actual dancing. I never did take hip hop though, I don't believe they offered it at my dance school.

It is beautiful here and we have the seasons.

Autumn is my favorite and it is incredible here.

Spring is nice too.

I am a Florida girl and love the ocean but the mountains are something special too.

Said professor is famous among students for constantly going off on tangents and spending a large amount of class time telling personal stories. Many students didn't like it, but I did. I'm tempted to sit closer to the door so I can hear some more of his stories.
