Intercourse is not optimally suited for female stimulation. My personal theory is that procreation requires the male to climax, but it is merely optional for the female. For that reason, humans evolved such that, in general, the male ejaculates fairly easily, but it takes more technique (and foreplay) to achieve female orgasm. The possibility of climax incentivizes female participation, while the assurance of same guarantees the male is all in.

Another possibility is you're encountering the effects of female refractory period in that the oral sex is desensitizing your G-spot enough that you can't get off during the time you are copulating. Not doing oral or waiting longer before engaging in intercourse might prove/disprove this.

My SO only orgasms through clitoral stimulation, so it's exactly as you say Wildfetishes. We can have some powerful sex, but it's through oral sex that the magic happens. Embracing it and not setting some sort of expectation or pressure on the subject is a healthy approach.
