Anyone else have this problem. The rest of the internet is in English but when I come here it goes to German and needs to be translated with the Google toolbar. Can someone please tell me how to get it back to English.

Under 'Page' from my toolbar in the upper right corner I go down to 'encoding' and 'western European (ISO)' is selected then when I go down to 'more' there's no English so hopefully this is an easy fix.

Oh and I have the latest IE.

Ah okay then thanks for the help, now how do I keep it this way lol. It seems to switch around every few months. Or is this something that just falls into the 'just live with it' category.

Or switch to Firefox. Great apps. Hundreds upon hundreds of them, all free. The thing is 3x stronger against hacking. I've used I.E. and Firefox is much more stable, freezing a quarter as often as I.E And it's independent of Windows. If it goes down, it doesn't bring down Windows with it. The few times it's frozen on me, I just rebooted it, and I was immediately back on line without my connection being severed and Windows still working.

Sounds as if your Literotica options are set to use German. Go to: http://forum.literotica.com/profile.php?do=editoptions

Scroll down to the very last option (in English it's "forum language", in German will appear as "Sprache der Benutzeroberfläche"). Click the pull-down menu and change to "English" (US) then select the bottom-left "save" button ("Anderungen Speichern").

Playing with "Encoding" probably won't fix this; that's about choice of alphabets, not the actual language.

Switching browsers is unlikely to fix the problem. If the rest of the net is appearing in English and Literotica is in German, it's very unlikely to be a browser problem; far more likely that their user settings on Literotica have somehow been changed to German. In that case, switching browsers would give a temporary fix (because Lit won't know who it is, so will display in English by default) but as soon as they log in, it'll go back to the language set in their user options.

is it lit only that appears in german? if not, the issue may be something else.

Sounds like you know more than me, but I'm still touting FireFox. I think it's the greatest browser around. Tried Chrome and uninstalled it. And I've got nothing good to say about I.E. And I just love browsing through all the free apps for FireFox and trying them out.
FWIW I think this guy might fix his problem with your advice.

There is a deeper reason.

If you want it kinky (really kinky!), forget about leather, chaineds animal and so on. Speak German during intercourse instead!

It is the Internets way to tell you, to ramp up the kink!
:D
