In defense of opera, I will admit that it is disturbing, but also such a lovely way to marvel at what humans can do with only their lungs and throats. And by the end, you have the sense that we could accomplish anything if we spent more of our time communicating in beautiful shrieks and powerful rumbles. That's fun.

But sometimes I will still wish for a unicorn.
