Today approximately 6 million Americans got health insurance via the ACA. Many of them are getting health insurance for the first time in their lives. Thank you, President Obama for standing up for those in need. Not only did he do the ethical and moral thing he has done what the country needed. The ACA can be expected to create a great many jobs and to help us all to prosper. In one state alone just the medicaid expansion is expected to create 17,000 jobs. We can be very proud of our president and of this life saving new program.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!

Because they're being forced to buy it or pay a penalty.

Well yeah. The Heritage Foundation's idea sure was a good one, wasn't it?

Your thread title is missing a qualifier: maybe. There is some concern that those who were able to get through the process when the website was barely functional may not have signed up for anything at all.

I don't object to the idea behind Obamacare; I object to the way it was legislated (with all the lack of public education, the backroom dealing, and the “pass it now, read it later" dearth of Congressional oversight) and the tax being implemented to pay for it, administered by the IRS. Those who've supported Obamacare the most vocally are also the ones who oppose the NSA most vocally, yet don't realize they've given the government even more private information, when the government knows to much about us already.

yeah, more welfare for the lazy fuckers

next stop, single government controlled health care and insurance

live long, you lazy ignorant and stupid socialist comrades

6 million lemmings, you say?

Huh...

...have any idea of how many millions more Americans didn't sign up and still don't have any kind of USSA-mandated health insurance at the deadline today?

your over-enthusiastic support, and tendency to ignore this administration's pecadillos, serves to cast a shadow on your message, brother.

do you want to be percieved as a busybody with fewer exclamation points?
you're better than that

it is if they don't pay for it.

how many American's are now living off the obama government? this new obama welfare class, or as I like to refer to them, the "New Slaves" will not pay for obamacare if they bother to sign up for it

Clearly, those that work will start to get pissed off as the obama taxes start to kick in. I'm stunned by the number of ignorant obama followers that believed the obama bullshit

1. obamacare is free
2. that you can keep your existing insurance

and can you tell me why a self employed guy who is 50 needs to carry maternity insurance? oh yeah, to support the obama slaves

when people start getting taxed on obamacare - will become upset...unless they are totally ignorant and drinking the obama bliss juice

didn't the asshole obama expect to have 20 million American's signed up by now?

obamacare, taking welfare to new high's (for those that smoke the obama ass juice)

You're 25, right? Still one your parents plan, no?

if they don't pay for it, it's not insurance. is it?

It's access to health care. Many now have it for the first time

Haven't picked up a newspaper since October, have you? S'okay, many conservatives choose to remain in those halycon days when the website was broken back in October.

Such a sad person. 30 years of "analysis paralysis" and you object to the "pass it now" mentality? America won, you lost. Deal with it.

Absolutely disagree with your assessment, Pete! Busybody focuses on minutinae ("The president wore mismatched socks today, impeach him!"). This truly is a memorable day in American history....for the first time since our Country's founding, insurance companies cannot deny health insurance to folks with pre-existing conditions. It's a turning point in health care policy, which is why we have so much bitter angst from the folks above who were just fine with the status quo.

Happy New Year everyone!!

perfect example of the obama kind. a fat person that eats at McDonalds 6 times a week and bitches about being fat.

Rob, its simple. watch what you eat and get some exercise

Rob is also the perfect example of the obama kind. when he does work, is only able to get some shitty job then quits when he qualifies for some sort of welfare program

live long my fat comrade

So basically you fear the government getting its hands on your social security number and the taxable income you reported on your tax return that the IRS already has.

So you new critique is that the ACA doesn't go far enough? Great - you and I finally agree on something!

Listen, I understand it's your and your fellow navigator's job to make a turd smell good; thus, it's also totally understandable why you must center your propaganda on just 6 million, measley lemmings...

...while ignoring the tens and tens and tens of millions of Americans who did not sign up for USSA-mandated healthcare and who are now in violation of its tyrannical laws.

What are your statist masters going to do about all those millions of folks, boy?

the obama Borg are coming for them

they will become part of the collective
