Happy Safety Day. We now have the safest filing cabinets in Victoria, apparently the contents were causing a hazard by being in the secure containers...fucking morons I work with.

Hope your week is going well. Melbourne Cup long long weekend coming up. Looking forward to the mini break. Now if only we can get our Show Day holiday back.

I'm having a ball. I'm feelin a bit bright for this corner though. NO-ONE has red hair! How can that be?? It's like there's been a cull or something!!
It's a lovely place but I need colour. Maybe coz it's 'fall' the clothes are subdued, but it's still hot. And few places have flowers. lots of lovely landscaping but on a green/grey palette. Some azalias around, so they'd be colourful in flower. Not criticising, just an observation. Very friendly and patient folk. Downtown was full of dogs of all shapes and sizes dressed up in costumes on Saturday. Now THAT was colourful!!!

Yes well the Safety Day should of been about safety in the workplace instead it turned into cleaning and throwing out things just for the sake of it. Got some free computer stuff though this week so that was good. No computers just accessories. Picked up a brand new laptop bag, good quality too.

Complete turn around to the weather today, was mid to high 20's yesterday, today the cool change came through early this morning and windy yet again with rain showers, expecting hail later. Not sure what Melbourne Cup weather will be like.

Yes thanks to the Liberal State govt of the day they took away our show day. Employers were happy, everyone else is still pissed off.

If you travel to countries in the colder months don't expect too much colour. You're obviously not in the right place to see the people with coloured hair..they are there just need to go looking

Morning all,

Long long weekend here in Melbourne town. Most people take the Monday off before cup day which is always on the first Tuesday of Nov. Retail loves it cause it means more people shopping. The fillies on the field are in full swing as well. Lots of drunk women will be walking around the place for the next week right up to Oaks Day next week which is traditionally ladies day.
