Hey Triskie ((((hugsssssss)))) and 's

I'm laid up in bed with the flu, I would say man flu but that'll only leave me open to ridicule :)

Study is going great guns thank you. It's all go to the Chrimbo holidays now.

I did watch the Grand Final. Freo was mad!!!! Purple and white EVERYWHERE!!! Pubs were open at 7am.
The Final itself was a massive disappointment. Had Fyfe, Pav and Mayne had their kicking boots on, well who knows. And that was the worst I've ever seen Ballers play!!! Still.....it'll be a good learning curve and experience.

How's life Treatin ya? :rose:

The poor Freo boys would never have been involved with anything like the GF hype before. The whole pregame build up is insane. And expectations from home would never have been higher. I think they acquitted themselves well in that pressure cooker. :)

Life here is frantic. Off to the US in just over a week, and I have to have it all covered before I go. AND a new pos system is going in next week, so all my training of staff is out the window and I have to start again!!

I hope you shake that flu quickly, Ginge. Lots of fluids, good food and rest.

So, I'm home.

How much more civilized are these temps down here?! I flew out of Brissy on a day that went to 38 degrees, and landed in Launy to a calm, sunny 12 (which was actually quite warm as there was no wind), and immediately re-thought any possibility of moving!
Although..... I kinda said I'd go for a year to help establish, BUT.... there are a few conditions.
I will ONLY live in Buderim. I will NOT work before 8am or after 3pm, and I will not do every single weekend. I also want a paid car, with airconditioning. And I refuse point-blank to move before the end of my kidlets school year.
If she wants me, she's damn well going to have to work to get me - and if I decide to work with the chocolate company (have a couple of weeks left to decide) then I must be allowed to organize it so I can do so.
She seems to be ok with all of those, so we'll see what comes back.
At any rate, I'm back up there in a couple of weeks to go to the Gold Coast V8's :D

Got home to find my eldest son had done a clean-up to make sure I came back and had nothing to do. He's such a sweetie!
Both CadburyCat and Pepper (bird) appear to have actually missed me, and have been either under my feet or meowing/chattering at me constantly! Too cute!

And without completely breaking the lit site rules.... I can report that none of my children are virgins any more, although I'm not sure how I feel about the latest

Anyway, cheers! It's Bathurst weekend and I have cracked a bourbon and am relaxing in front of the wide-screen, computer on lap, feet on stool, ready for the top ten shootout :cattail:

Good to see you back home and settled in, WQ. :rose: I can't go home in summer anymore. It's just too bloody hot! I can't imagine summer where Orlanth is!!!! ( Hi Orlanth. ) My mother is still in Brissy. She reckons it's hotter longer these days.

Budrim's a nice spot. Whatever happens I hope it's the best for you.

I'm busy organising my troups so things run smoothly while I'm away. of course a new POS system is going in next week, the pootas are down, and people are crook so I won't have the max length of time to train them. The usual crap that happens when you need smooth order....

I leave for the US in 9 days!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :nana: :nana: :nana:

I'm getting better now. Thanks heaps Triskie.
Extra (((( hugsssssss))))) and 's for you

Glad you got back safe and sound.....but going from 38 degrees to 12 must have been a shocker.

Wow you don't want much do ya?? I guess you're an expensive date hey ;)

What makes you think that you have tainted kiddies??

Can't wait to Bathurst. I saw a replay of the 2007 race and WOW!!! Awesome race and exciting as

Not a shock to come back to great weather at all.
It was lovely! Not sweating is the greatest :D

I'm actually a very cheap date ;)
But I am an expensive employee - mainly because I'm worth every cent.
I can take her cafe and retrain all the staff to make sure she gets a Foodsafe tick in under 3 months. I can rework her systems to bring her wastage below 2%. I can lift her sales (as evidenced by the more than 80% increase on each day I was there!).
I may be boasting a bit..... but I KNOW what I can bring. And if she wants that, it's not going to happen at basic wage levels!

I know when each of my kids lost it because all of them have told me the morning after! I have always maintained a very open and honest dialogue with them regarding sex and sexuality, and they all know they can ask me anything without embarrassment or fear.
Once they got to a certain age, I even supplied them with safe-sex products.
More parents should do this.

Did you see the top 10 shootout? One of the best I've seen.... 100% commitment from every driver and some awesome laps!
If that was anything to go by, todays race will be something else!
:D

Yeah, the heat got to me a bit.... which is why I chose Buderim.
Close enough not to have a hell-commute, and a little bit elevated to lower the humidity!
Orlanth (hi lovely man  ) must melt a little more each summer!

Urk! Changing pos systems can be a pain!
The cafe runs on Infinity, which is quite easy. But the back of house systems need a bit of work.
Her new IT guy wants to change it and I agree with him. Right now it's way too complex. And he wants to change from MYOB to Zero, which I also agree with! Let's just hope SIL lets her IT guy do his job

Where in the US are you headed?

BATHURST!
Bourbon. Check.
Snacks. Check.
Hard-drive recording. Check.
Lunch pre-cooked. Check.
Computer set up on lap table. Check.

It's going to be a good day! :D

OMGOMGOMG!!! The final laps are close as anything and exciting as hell!
I am on the edge of my seat!

WHAT A FINISH!
I think I had two heart attacks, a stroke and an embolism..... all at the same time!
:D

my apologies
though some of brock's wins would not be allowed today it was not intension to insult anyone but reachedme
I mean who doesn't watch bathurst, I have even jogged around the track let me tell you it is fu@#$%g steep

Apologies
I get a bit emotionally involved when it comes to Bathurst....
I didn't mean to come across as so passionate :)

Forgive me, please.

I can't wait for the summer....truly. If nothing else, so I can hit the beach and get practising body boarding and taking my two Surfing lessons I got as a Chrimbo pressie last year :D

Wow you sound like every Employers dream, and considering what you feel you are confident in doing, then anyone would be foolish not to "invest" in you ;)

Cheap date eh??...when did you say you were coming to WA? ;)

Not seen any of this weekends racing..:( and now I am recording it as I am doing a roast lamb dinner...GRRRR!!!!!!

Hello there Frisky Trisky  it is hot up here that is why I am getting aircon put in my room hopefully tomorrow

I DON'T watch Bathurst since they moved away from "showroom" cars to race cars but saying that Brocky even though his stupid pissing off of Holden insisting on the bogus magnet thing he fell for (read the book).

Brocky even drove a speedway torana I helped build & was impressed spending more tome talking to me about the car than he did with the owner driver.

Power down again.
Why?
Because there's a bit of a breeze.

Makes me WANT to move.

Fourth time this week :(

Dropping in to wish my wonderful, amazing wife BANDIT:heart: a very Happy Birthday for today.

I love you more every day we are together.

:nana::nana::nana::nana:

Bandit doesn't post much anymore.... but as it's her birthday, I hope she see's these messages!
Hope you had the awesomest day and got spoiled rotten!
:rose::kiss::heart:
