Flying to Brissy on Sat morning (4am wakeup! :eek: ). I'll be gone about 5 days.
So.... I have two suitcases.
One is 22kg and full to the brim with chocolate. The other will be 17kg, half full of chocolate and the other half with my clothes etc.
On top of that I am taking a laptop bag with most of the contents of my handbag as well as my laptop and ass't charging cords etc.
Coming back, I will pack the smaller suitcase and stuff it inside the bigger one.

And this is only a small order of choccy - $850.

I LOVELOVELOVE the remoteness of my home :)
I can play my music as loud as I want...... I can see anyone coming to my house..... I can grow my own food..... I can isolate myself if I want to....
What's not to like?

I couldn't see a pool, swings, tennis court, play area........although the huge forest next to you would be good for that :D

So when can I come and stay? :D

So - 5-20pm and everything is done and I'm ready to fly tomorrow.
My eldest son is going to stay at the house from Monday, the Kidlet is at my daughters place, the bird and cat are sorted.....
And I just got a message from the airline telling me I can have inflight entertainment on my phone! How cool is that!
Just about to have my dinner and then off to bed early.

Afternoon all,

Well we've had a grand final last week, gales and rain this week with lots of downed trees. The advise from the BOM was avoid parking under trees...well from what I saw it seems trees were falling on cars not matter where they were. Didn't matter if you parked on the other side of the street, in your own driveway or under a carport....they still got ya.

Well been home most of the week with further complications on the back injury...finally went to the doc for some help...getting better. At least I can get in bed now without feeling like I'm getting stabbed in the back and I can walk more that a few steps without pain.

Off to sunny Adelaide later this week for a tree hug convention...and me telling the senior management how to do strategic planning.....yep that's going to be a total waste of time...they couldn't write a business plan to save themselves. Hopefully there will be coffee...fucking strong coffee. Taking my own pain killers.

Oh yes that other footy game is on today..go....who ever wins...fight between an eagle and a chook....either way its KFC.

Disappointed in not seeing the fleet parade in Sydney on TV...they finished just before the good bit. Didn't get the fireworks...apart from the fact they were fireworks. Whatever they were meant to be showing...it kinda all looked the same as New Year's Eve...if there was a naval theme...me no saw it.

Great to see that your cherub has come through the treatment with flying colours WQ. :rose: Have you got a good grunt car to keep you entertained in the heat??? :D

Mr Elf, all you can do is give them the tools. What they do with it is there concern. :cool: Most of them will delegate, anyway. So it would be more cost effective to train the minions. Hope your back gets better soon. And the travel to Adelaide isn't painful, either.

Ms Wind, I see that you are still tantalising our honorary Aussie. :D I keep meaning to ask you, did you finish your driveway?

I'm laid up in bed with the flu, I would say man flu but that'll only leave me open to ridicule :)

Study is going great guns thank you. It's all go to the Chrimbo holidays now.

I did watch the Grand Final. Freo was mad!!!! Purple and white EVERYWHERE!!! Pubs were open at 7am.
The Final itself was a massive disappointment. Had Fyfe, Pav and Mayne had their kicking boots on, well who knows. And that was the worst I've ever seen Ballers play!!! Still.....it'll be a good learning curve and experience.

How's life Treatin ya? :rose:
