Hello Blu...did you finish the costume? :D

Ugh.. wrenched the hell out of my knee and haven't been able to walk properly all night. So while I have the components for the costume, I have not been able to put it on and see how it looks. Guess I will just have to chance it tomorrow. :(

Daryl, of course, followed closely by Hershel, Glen and Carol.

Do you think the writers had any idea how popular the Daryl character was gonna be?

Sorry to hear you wrenched your knee.

Possibly. I think it's more Norman Reedus that makes Daryl's character popular, but the writers have certainly helped. I'm pretty sure the audience would drop significantly if they kill off his character.

I know this makes me unpopular but one of my favorite characters was Merle. Yes, I know he was a racist asshole, but there towards the end... I just felt there was depth and so much more to him than was explored. Does that make sense?

I loved Merle, in spite of him being a thoroughly despicable character. Sure, his character was a racist asshole, but he played it with such panache. Part of it, for me, is that I enjoy Michael Rooker's acting as well.

Oh Michael Rooker kicks ass! I was so upset that just as we began to see this glimmer of humanity and a peek into his childhood and the writers let him go. Sons a bitches!

But didn't Daryl go back to the group and leave Merle in the woods? Isn't that why Merle ended up at the prison?

Okay.. now what kind of 'bump' are we talkin' about here?

No, Merle was in the prison already. He'd helped Daryl and Andrea get out when they were rescuing Glen and whatever his gf's name is.
Rick decided Merle had to go & Daryl went with, but Daryl decided to go back to the prison.
