Cover Charge Sat 10/26

hey guys! Okay I know this is late so maybe I will let it carry for a day or so...

Just got in from early trick or treating with the kids and I have to say, I am quite proud of the job I did with the costumes. I may be a shit mom but at least I am a shit mom that can pull together awesome costumes. [laughs]

So in the spirit of the season... I want to know what your favorite costume was as a child (or even as an adult). Is there a costume that sticks out in your memory? Come one.... share share! :D

My mom made a witch costume for me when I was about ten...it was a black cape and a black dress, it had orange fringe, and a great big pointy hat. I loved it! :)

I converted an old red velvet dress which was also red satin lined from my mother in law into a cape...daughter wore it as little red riding hood one year...I cut off the length to make the hood and made two arm slits ...wish I had taken a picture....gave her a wicker hamper to complete the outfit.
We entered her in a costume contest and I though she had a good chance of winning...but a store bought Cinderella gown won...little fuckers...not bitter in the least though:rolleyes:

Don't you hate that? You spend all that time and then some yuppie with a pocketbook wins. Bastards!

Cover Charge Mon 10/28

*shakes head at Joy*

Hey y'all. Hope everything is going well for ya.

I just wanted to pop in and drop off cover charge. It is again in keeping with the season.

So the boys are excited because we are finally letting them watch scary movies. Oldest is stoked to finally see Night of the Living Dead. I don't think it will be too scary and hopefully it will be a good intro to horror films.

I can't remember my first scary movie. But I can remember the one that scared me the most. The Exorcist. *shudder* Scared the crap out of me!

Okay, so your turn... in your opinion, what is the scariest scary movie?

Blu
