jeninflorida...the author.

C'mon. You could pick any story apart and find copious amounts of slip-ups and irregularities - even in books of published and proof-read authors.

In fact I have made this very error in one of mine too...

He ordered me some Champaign and knew that the night was going to be special. We sat there enjoyed each others company and Champaign.

I never drink the stuff myself so how the hell should I know? I would never misspell "beer" - trust me.

Jeninflorida's stories have consistently scored well over 4 and several of them are even categorized in Loving Wives - the Lit equivalent of a stroll through Kabul Afghanistan wearing a stars'n stripes shirt. Though I haven't read any of them yet this tells me that they're bound to be pretty good...

You're conveniently ignoring brilliant passages of hers like, "My heart jumped when she asked me to show her my bumps."

Then you've just indicated your level of credibility, haven't you?

...and now you're suggesting that a Lit score indicates the quality of a piece of work.

Lol, indeed.

They indicate something.

If we're to believe they're not easy to manipulate, then they would indicate the popularity of any given piece of work.

Meanwhile, Yanni is one of the world's most popular musicians. By a long shot.

I don't like Jenn's politics either but I would never bring up grammatical errors or erotic writing excerpts as a ways to continue an argument? That's nonsensical and the problem with the political atmosphere in the US at the present time. I put her on ignore and now we can continue our erotic fetishes in peace!

Thanks for your input.

(That's not what this thread is about, but thanks!)

Lol then you need a better opening post or a bunch of other fuckwits like me are going to post in your thread!

That's okay - if I bump my own thread too often, it could be seen as spamming. Instead, you're bumping it for me.

Well erm ok... thats probably a case of "you had to be there"...

Then you've just indicated your level of credibility, haven't you?

Or maybe I simply demonstrated that even Rocco Siffredi is bound to have the occasional soft day.

Not necessarily a piece of work, but a consistent high score over a large portfolio does indicate a certain level of proficiency. Say what you will, but it's hard to argue with success. If we got paid for this, Jeninflorida would be rolling in the dough - maybe even to the point of turning her republican.

I could be wrong (it has happened to me before - last time at 10.15 pm on October 15th 1997), but I can't shake a feeling that your critique of Jeninflorida the writer might be influenced by your feelings towards Jeninflorida the political hardliner. Just a thought.

The fact that she doesn't show up and defend her work is proof that it is not. She just sucks and that's likely all there is to it.

Besides her politics are sufficiently vile that just like people are boycotting Ender's Game Jen deserves this and worse.

It does nothing of the sort. It simply indicates how others feel about a certain author's work - and it may, in fact, not even indicate that. There's a whole slew of reasons for people to vote up one author's work, none of which have to do with a "certain level of proficiency". This subject is discussed and debated almost on a daily basis in this forum, which speaks volumes about the validity of those scores.

"If [you] got paid" - there's the rub. Totally different kettle of fish. Have you seen her reviews on Amazon?

1. Jeninflorida is not a "political hardliner". She's a troll who talks politics out of her ass and demonstrates bigotry and racism.

2. It's no secret I'm not a fan of her personally. But I sincerely hope you're not telling me you think she's a good writer - if you are, I can assure you the laughs aren't going to come only from me.

Most of my stuff is scored in the 3's so I want you to be right. My writers-penis would grow inches. :)

Alas I'm not convinced (and I have followed the debate in the forum about this).

But apparently that's not evident in her stories. At least I didn't notice anything like this in your excerpts:

As Leroy entered his bedroom in search of the food stamps he was met by the sight of his wife Quanisha in the throes of passion from getting raw-hammered doggy-style by a large well muscled white man sporting an elephant tattoo on his shoulder. He turned his head and spotted Leroy in the doorway...

"Get your worthless mooching democratic ass the fuck out of here, "the man growled without slowing his pace. "I don't want no audience. Go sign up for Obama-care or whine over your sub-prime mortgage or something while I do this bitch."

I honestly don't know never having read any of her stuff. But now I will have to put her on my list just to check for myself whether you're right. See what you've done? ;)

Ghostwrite, please ghostwrite.

Woof!

this is awesome!

I love it that the thug loser Roybie obsesses about me. its nice to know he things about me 24/7

keep up the good work!

no, its fact that I don't care what you think.

sorry to break the bad news but why would I defend anything to welfare people? Amazon doesn't take food stamps

These are simpleton people, not really worth knowing. They lack the balls to do anything and want to make others as miserable as they are. They are really sad, pathetic people.

and while we might not agree, at least you are a man and we can talk about other topics. This thread just proves what a pile of shit Roybie and SeanR are. Sad. they are desperate to try and "hurt" me, but these are little men trying to make up for having a little penis...

to be honest, I think its funny

Doesn't care what people think.
Still responds directly to them in thread.

It's okay Jen.

This on's bettah!

By Richard Stephens

The book was riddled with spelling and grammatical errors, not to mention flat out using the wrong word sometimes. (platoon instead of pontoon) Also seemed to have a very juvenile tone, which made it difficult to enjoy.

See bad grammar in posts is fine. It's acceptable to a degree when you post on Lit, you aren't (really) making any money so no big. But something you're attempting to sell you should have the pride to proof read and have someone else proof-read. I guess we know about what pride means to this woman.

I'm sorry, I really tried to like this little novella; however, there was no substance to it...Oh well, at least it was free. I would have been PO'd otherwise
