Not necessarily a piece of work, but a consistent high score over a large portfolio does indicate a certain level of proficiency. Say what you will, but it's hard to argue with success. There's a whole slew of reasons for people to vote up one author's work, none of which have to do with a "certain level of proficiency". This subject is discussed and debated almost on a daily basis in this forum, which speaks volumes about the validity of those scores.

Anna Maria Island was not too interesting and didn't have much of a plot. It did have the same repetitive type of sex scene over and over and the abrupt ending came as a pleasant surprise that it was at least finished.

See bad grammar in posts is fine. It's acceptable to a degree when you post on Lit, you aren't (really) making any money so no big. But something you're attempting to sell you should have the pride to proof read and have someone else proof-read. I guess we know about what pride means to this woman.
