As some of you know, I have some titles published in A1AdultEbooks. Well, Stuart has decided to try giving Amazon a big FUQ! (The FU is pronounced 'Fuh' and the Q is pronounced just Q.)

Hi,
This email is going out to all authors who are registered on our sites as either self-publishing or Exclusive to us at Fiction4All and A1AdultEbooks and our network of sites.

Okay, most of you will now know that Amazon and others such as B&N and Kobo have recently blocked a LOT of adult fiction stories and I know times are tough. With just under one sixth of my exclusive author titles now blocked by Amazon, I am furious - and when I get furious, as some of you know already, I tend to come out fighting.

So, for all you adult fiction writers - welcome to our Adult Authors Co-Operative! Based at www.tabooreading.com, in addition to the royalties you are already earning from our existing sites, you will earn a flat 75% of the sales price of your books on Taboo Reading. This site is only available to my exclusive authors and those of you who are self-publishing.

Being a co-operative site - we need co-operation from as many authors as possible. To help us all achieve something, every author with a book published on Taboo Reading, has his or her own home page.

You can find out what yours is by logging into our author area at: http://wwww.fiction4all.com/authors/access.htm and then going down the left menu and click on the Your Author Pages link. On the next page, your home page on Taboo Reading will display, as well as any page you can link to on either Fiction4All or A1AdultEbooks as appropriate. All you need to do is take the link on Taboo Reading and use it in your blogs, on Facebook, Twitter or any other place you write or advertise and bring people to your home page at Taboo Reading.

If enough of us do this, it will bring a tidal wave of people to Taboo Reading who will find what you write without censorship and other non-adult meaningless garbage coming up when they search for what they are truly interested in.

Okay, we have to abide with what PayPal will allow in terms of content, but for most of you reading this email, basically if your work is okay with Smashwords (even if it doesn't make it to their Premium Catalogue) then it should be okay on Taboo Reading. Read our publishing guides in the author area to double check what we can and cannot publish.

Take a look around, tell your friends and let`s all party at the expense of the big sellers.

As of today we will be recording and reporting sales on Taboo Reading separately to our other sites - but the royalties will still be added to your existing account. We are building a separate leader board and best-sellers list as well and in a few days we will be showing those details purely based on what is selling at Taboo Reading - we just need some more data first!

We will be developing the home pages for authors on Taboo Reading further in the weeks ahead. So, if you have any suggestions, likes or dislikes please let me know. I can not guarantee to meet everyone`s desires as we have built an automated page generator to keep things as simple as we can for all of you, but I will read every comment and do what the majority feedback requests (if we can!).

When submitting a book to us, please remember to access the author/self-publishing suite at:
http://www.fiction4all.com/authors/access.htm

As always, I`d like to say thank you to everyone for your continued support and I hope we all have a great last few months of 2013. I`d love to see you all promoting your pages at Taboo Reading and for that site to make everyone a whole heap of cash just before Christmas!

Kind Regards
Stuart

So am I going to be able to shop here for incest-themed erotic romances and that sort of thing? It would be nice to have a go-to website for that.

The bottom line remains that those wanting to read incest need to be informed of where to go to get it if Amazon (and Kobo) won't offer it. The demand for it isn't what's changing. So, any effort like the OP's is helpful to that end.

It would also be helpful not to waste your powder on whining about Amazon. Amazon has a right to do what it's doing (you'd want the same rights to sell what you want to sell if you were in business). If you want to sell incest, work on connecting the buyers to someplace you can sell it.

Stuart is adopting the right mentality. Take advantage of the competition's bullshit.

Since he is offering 75% royalties(previously it was 50) I lowered my prices to $1.99

On that note one advantage to my PI stuff being booted from amazon is this.

My books used to be $1.99 on SW( I have a "true" incest version for every story on sw and had a PI version on amazon) but because of amazon's price fixing (your book cannot be available for less or they will boot it) I can now lower my prices back to $1.99

because SW gives 85% off the main site I was fine with the $1.99. When I had to raise the price to $2.99 I obviously received more per sale but did note less sales, but amazon made it worth it at the time

For what it is worth since amazon's purge began a couple of weeks ago my SW sales have already beat last months by 100 sales and there is still a week left.

Yeah, right. :D

Shaking in their boots? Of course not

But...I am wondering what the reaction will be for the final quarter of the year.

PI made them millions.

My example is this. I had one PI book sell more than 500 copies three months in a row. I made close to 3k in three months on that one book amazon got 1k roughly

they made a grand on one of my books in three months. One book from one author there are tens of thousands of these titles selling anywhere from a few copies a month to some selling well over a thousand.

I know amazon looks at a million the way we look at a few bucks, but I have a feeling they are going to be surprised at how much they lose.

I think their feeling is people will say "well I really wanted PI or hardcore BDSM or something nasty, but its not here, I guess I'll just buy a romance or something else. They're wrong.
