Much Ado About Nothing

I've done a bunch of "bad" in my "lifetime"...

...but I've yet, as an adult, committed the heinous crime of messing around sexually - in any way - with a minor.

Are you simply implying that you don't see messing around sexually - in any way - with a minor that big of deal...

...or that, as an adult, you've messed around sexually with a minor, too?

you fucking weaselly scumbag

ok, back on ignore since you have nothing of value to contribute. as per.

Yup. I appreciate the person who doesn't need a herald to do a good thing.

I was taught that "No good deed goes unpunished" and I don't really expect good to come back to me, but I'm usually intensely grateful when it does.

I think God drops work in our paths, be it litter or dog shit or rattlesnakes. It happened once, I was driving home when a large rattlesnake crossed the road and took shelter beneath a shrub at the bus stop. I parked my car, got out, flagged down the bus, and warned the driver. Then a kid came along with a weapon, and we killed the snake. Someone's gotta deal with it.

Just recently we couldn't get the sheriff to come by and shoot a rabid raccoon. YOU NEED TO CALL FISH & WILDLIFE, MISTER JOHNSON. It was Friday after 5PM.

But, alas, no "fucking weaselly scumbag" for an adult who cybers with a minor?

Say it aint' so, poser...

Come after me, big boy. Forty-fifty years ago I was plowing it up, and I liked it a lot. And so did they.

I don't think there's a God, I just think there's work.

When I realized that it was mostly my ego making me unwilling to do the dirty work I got down to it.

It took me YEARS to learn to do a simple chore without resentment and blaming other people for generating that chore. Wellspring of entitlement and ego babble. I was finally grateful when I could just take the trash out listening to music and noticing what a nice day it was instead of grumbling about who in the house makes a mess and never takes the trash out.

I have to do a lot of personality engineering. When I have a bad habit I have to fake it until I make it. Takes a long time.

Sure. Some of us make it to your enlightenment. Most don't. Youre a good man, Charlie Brown.

Yesterday as an adult, you cybered with a minor...

...today as an adult, you maintain that there was nothing really wrong with cybering with that minor and, in fact, was beneficial - rehabilitative - to the minor.

You should be grateful that there are "chances" offered at all...

...even if they are awarded from those who evidently share your stance on cybering with minors in the first place.

eyer is in troll-mode again today.

For those keeping track, that's 13 straight days.

His record is 15.

I had a few days off.

I wonder if he'll figure out that he's drawing more attention to a thread I made and making more people like Shakespeare.

I choose to see it that way anyway.

Shakespeare should have more fans and was aware that a little intrigue, blood and gore never hurt a good story.

Totally understandable...

...'cause you also "choose to see it that" you, as an adult, cybering with a minor is not a bad thing, or criminal, but, instead, is rehabilitative to the minor.

Evidently, your supporters in this thread do, too...

...thus, your posse suits you.

“Be not afeard; the isle is full of noises,
Sounds, and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears; and sometime voices,
That, if I then had waked after long sleep,
Will make me sleep again: and then, in dreaming,
The clouds methought would open, and show riches
Ready to drop upon me; that, when I waked,
I cried to dream again.”

Despite the idea that I was 27 fucking a 13 year old, in reality the guy was online from when he was 13, I started talking to him as a person when he was 14 and I really, really love this guy. Really love him. He's smart and funny and awesome and I'm lucky to have had him in my life.

Believe that or don't, I'm not here crowing about it being a great thing everybody should do. I'm listing it under "crime" and it's not something I'm proud about, but it is something that happened. To me it was an emotional and not a physical relationship, but was it still outside of what is considered lawful? Yes.

Do I think I did the kid some good? Yeah, actually I do. Do I think I could have been charged with a crime? Yep. If my daughter or son had a relationship with a person that much older, would I freak out? Hell yes.

.....

I can so relate:

Don Pedro:
In faith, lady, you have a merry heart.

Beatrice:
Yea, my lord, I thank it, poor fool, it keeps on the windy
side of care.

He that hath a beard is more than a youth, and he that hath no beard is less than a man. And he that is more than a youth is not for me, and he that is less than a man - I am not for him

But she who doeth cyber with a minor and considers her dirty deed rehabilitative, thus worthy of understanding acceptance, instead of criminal, and thus justifiably worthy of wrathful scorn, needs no Shakespearean fool...

...for she is one.

I had rather be a canker in a hedge than a rose in his grace, and it better fits my blood to be disdained of all than to fashion a carriage to rob love from any. In this, though I cannot be said to be a flattering honest man, it must not be denied but I am a plain-dealing villain.

Yw...

I am trusted with a muzzle and enfranchised with a clog; therefore I have
decreed not to sing in my cage. If I had my mouth, I would bite; if I had my liberty, I would do my liking. In the meantime, let me be that I am, and seek not to alter me.

I get a free bump and I don't have to read what he says, so it's a win-win.

Although I might break up the Shakespeare with some random Bowie just to see if anybody's listening.
