Yes... bonfire and hayride tomorrow night and family pictures Sunday. How about you?
I'm going to a shooting party/cookout tomorrow. Sunday I don't know, probably a whole lot of nothing.

A shooting party? I've never heard of such a thing... will you be cooking out with the things you shot?
A whole lot of nothing sounds so good. I really wanted to do that on Sunday, but the outfits we have that work together enough for a family picture are summery clothes, and we're running out of warm days for some outdoor pics. Although, if it rains, I won't be too upset.

Nah, we won't be shooting anything that we can cook. We'll be shooting clay pigeons and grilling.
I wonder if your kids will cooperate with the photo shoot, I never cared to have my picture taken.

I'm hoping the kids cooperate. I fully expect to bribe them with a milkshake if I have to, and I'm sure I will.

I'm not really in a city, just a suburb. There are a few gun clubs around here, but I don't know anyone who goes to them. Maybe people do have shooting parties here and I'm just not cool enough to be invited?
LOL where I live we're spread out enough your suburb would be a city.
Oh you're cool enough. You probably never go to any of these things because the local gun leagues reckon you're out of their league.

I guess that's true. We do live right in the center of our little city. Close enough to walk to places... library, stores, restaurants. But it's still nothing at all like Chicago or even Detroit. It's not even considered a "walking" town, we just live close to things.
LOL I'm not out of anyone's league. I'm just a forgettable, frumpy housewife.
Heh, neither my hometown nor the town where I went to high school have a stoplight. My hometown doesn't even have a 4-way stop in the middle of town.

Well, I guess to you I do live in the big city! I think my city has a population of 6-7000. Lots of traffic lights, freeways, and even some roundabouts.Hmm.. I can still call myself frumpy though, right?

Those pictures don't count. Those were dressing up to go to that wedding not an every day outfit.
