Saw a movie recently with that title and it made me think of a creative ideas for a BDSM session...make it very interactive with the sub...you can give them a choice, but each choice is unpleasant for them in different ways...for example, "would you rather use this large dildo in your ass for 3 min on all fours so I can watch or lay on your back and lick my ass and balls for 3 min while I ride your face"...possibilities are endless I suppose...thoughts? Anyone ever try something like this?

1) either choice is fine with you, neither choice is fine for them
2) you cobble up a reason to take the choice away, before or after they've made it
3) they end up doing both anyway...

Of course neither choice is fine for them, but they had to choose one or the other. The one they choose is probably the "lesser of two evils" kind of thing. That's what I was getting at.
As for 2 and 3... I feel terribly naive because I hadn't considered the choice being taken away. Or that both would happen anyway.

Yup, I like this style a lot. I used to use it with a girl I was playing with, once upon a time. It can be a lot of fun.

I'm not an experienced Domme by any stretch of the imagination, but I have learned a lot about mind games from Sir. He is the Master of two bad options and then he pulls the rug out from under me and does what he wants. I have learned and I try to do the same, but Lynn doesn't flinch when I tell her I will do blah, blah, blah to you or Sir and Steve will both X to you at the same time and she laughs because she wants both. It's hard out there for a Domme.
Not to hijack my own thread, but I think subs and many others underestimate the effort it takes on the Dom/Domme's part

This choice conundrum will only discombobulate a sub within scene. Be assertive, make the choices and run the show. ( within previously granted consent parameters of course )
If a little letter wanted choices they would be a Dom, or at least a switch.
Bad idea IMO......

I can see the possibility of this "choice" thing being fun, but I would add one more thing to Stella's three alternative ideas and that would be whatever the sub chooses the Dom does the opposite. knowing the sub will choose the easiest for them. But the Dom always has the prerogative to choose either, so it never becomes predictable.
As a sub all my life and in my BDSM experience the not knowing what will be done to me next is part of the adrenaline. Fear or the unknown so to speak. I was never given any say in a scene other than a agreed upon safe word before beginning. It was all part of the exchange of power from me to my Master. So I am sort of on the fence about this idea and still leaning away from it. I would consider it though if I were a Dom, but that will never happen.

Mmmm... maybe. As the dom, however, I would pick two things that I would want my sub to experience. And I would set them up so that they were both about equal, once way or the other...

I just realised that my old martial arts instructor used to do this to the class. He would ask things like "You have a choice: 30 push ups or one push up?" Everyone would choose 30 because we knew that if it was just one, we would inevitably have to hold a push up an inch off the ground for some ridiculous amount of time
Martial arts instructors and other sports coaches often seem to have have very sadistic personality types. I wonder if that translates to their personal lives...

Agreed. Yet the choices and options mindfuck isn't something I've ever seen drive out well in regards to one-on-one interaction. YMMV though.....

That's a first person, subjective determination one makes for themselves in regards to how they go about processing the act of experiencing a certain act or activity. In this case, it's choices. Plus, what's considered as sensor-pinging humiliation for one, can be ho-hum boredom to another.
What might be perceived as choice-based humiliation to one little letter sexual type, can very well be seen by another as being placed in a position of power and/or control via the fact they have a choice to make to begin with. Even if it's choosing the lesser of two evils, there's a control element to choices being offered to a sub or slave.
Someone's turn on can be someone else's turn off. We all have our own kinks to be worked out in varying ways.........and one size will never fit all.
