I've seen you called out for just this sort of bullshit before. As was stated earlier, this isn't the first time that the twitter circle of muckrakers has been pointed out.

I'll admit though, I was actually surprised at some of those involved in the little side line conversations, as well as the complete silence here of some that are in on those conversations if not party to them. It shows exactly what sort of person they are as well.

I understand being unwilling to stand against a torch waving mob. But don't fool yourself into thinking that you're not just as responsible in your silence as those who lit the pyre to burn the witch.

I've saw exactly ONE person who tossed aside their torch and actually said something while the rest were getting out the marshmallows or standing silently as the fire roared.

Twitter for us is like Facebook. We're friends, we share RL info and we talk about stuff. All sorts of stuff, involving our lives and things that happen to us, not just lit.

The fact that we all post on lit means that it comes up. Are you honestly surprised by that?

Would you expect us to add you to Facebook too, just in case we might happen to mention you at some point?

actually, wings, i would like to publicly state here and now that i've not been on twitter for months, lacking the time, and i did nothing of the sort being suggested here.

ALL i have done is read carefully, weigh and consider the source, attempt clarification through direct pm with recidiva and then passing on what i believe to be the unfucked-with truth. as i clearly pointed out in all my pm's to those i believed should hear the relevant truths to this whole sorry mess, it was entirely up to you all just what you made of it. it's not my place to start telling anyone what they should think. at no stage has reci or ulaven contacted me attempting to gain any support or asking me to tell people that i think their own interpretation is slewed. I contacted reci first for clarification, and received it. if others don't agree with my accepting of reci's clarification - which only ever showed me my interpretation was correct - then i accept it as their own choice and won't lose sleep over it.

now i am wondering if i have suddenly been 'defriended' or slated for stating my own beliefs of events. it's not that big an issue, since i so rarely venture onto twitter - it's not going to have any great impact on me. having said that, i would appreciate if people feel i've been doing 'run and tells' to be upfront with me about it so i can just say 'no' to their faces. How many of my twitter friends have taken me off their list? Will you let me know, please?

i haven't. i don't have a problem with you disagreeing with me and i'm sure you don't have a problem with me disagreeing with you. i like you and trust you so i'm not worried about keeping you on my feed.
